FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – The Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) has rounded out its office staff for the 2018-19 academic year with the hiring of Kelsey Hagan as the league's Director of New Media.
Hagan, who received her Bachelor of Science in Sports Management from Lasell College in May, has an impressive resume for a newly minted college graduate. She worked as a Marketing and Multimedia Specialist with the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, a NCAA Division III conference located in Winthrop, Massachusetts, during the most recent spring semester. While at the GNAC she assisted with managing all social media activities, including creating graphics and providing content for the league's Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter and Facebook accounts.
In addition to her work at the GNAC, Hagan has been with the Eastern Women's Hockey Conference, a junior women's hockey league dedicated to the development of female hockey players between the ages of 14-19, where she held the title of Director of Communications the past two seasons.
Hagan also worked for the Lasell athletics department as a graphic designer, and has worked as part of the Lasers' gameday staff since 2015.
"The SCAC is excited to have Kelsey on board with the conference office," said SCAC Associate Commissioner Russell Kramer. "For someone fresh out of college, Kelsey has put together an impressive resume of relative experience. Her enthusisasm for Division III athletics and her desire to be a part of that environment stood out during the interview process and helped her rise above a very talented group of candidates. I can't wait to have her in the office and get the 2018-19 academic year started."
Hagan will officially begin her position with the SCAC office on August 20.
