Johnson & Wales Takes Top Spot of 2009 Men's GNAC Cross Country Championship

Nashua, NH – 60 degrees with a bit of a wind, but it was a great day for a run as 12 GNAC schools gathered on the campus of Rivier College to partake in the 2009 GNAC Cross Country Championship Race.

On the Men’s side, 81 runners began the race with 79 finishing. Johnson & Wales freshman Greg Redfield took the top spot with a time of 27:14.81. The win also gave Redfield the GNAC Runner and Rookie of the year award. Johnson & Wales took the top three spots on their way to their second straight GNAC Championship, scoring a total of just 17 points. Norwich University and Emerson College tied for second with 80 points.
