Natalie West Named GNAC Director of Communications
After working as the GNAC Communications Specialist during the summer and fall of 2009, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference has named Natalie West the Director of Communications.
After working as the GNAC Communications Specialist during the summer and fall, the Great Northeast Athletic Conference has named Natalie West the Director of Communications.
A former GNAC student-athlete, West graduated from Simmons
College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and a minor
in Communications. A native of East Bridgewater, Mass., West is
pursuing a Masters degree in Sports Management from Northeastern
University and currently plays on the Boston Militia, a women's
professional football team. When she's not playing sports, West
volunteers as an assistant coach for the UMass-Boston softball
team.
Prior to arriving at the GNAC, West worked in game day operations
and as a sports information assistant for Simmons College.
During her undergraduate career, West acted as a webcast
videographer for BullPen Media Inc. and worked as a softball
instructor at Batters Box Inc. Previously, she served as an
assistant softball coach at East Bridgewater High School.
West received All-GNAC honors in softball and All-North Atlantic
Conference accolades for field hockey. West, a transfer from
Suffolk University, was named Louisville Slugger second-team All
Region, ECAC All-New England, and NESCA first team.
