Olympian Bickford Named SJC Cross Country Coach
STANDISH, ME – Saint Joseph’s College Athletic Director Brian Curtin has named Bruce Bickford as the Monks’ Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Head Coach. Bickford fills the spot vacated by Tom Dann, who stepped down earlier this summer after 14 years as the program leader, and will be the sixth coach in team history. MORE>>

Lasell College Announces Hiring of James Martin as Cross Country Head Coach
NEWTON, MA- The Lasell College Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of James Martin as the new Head Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Coach. Coach Martin takes over the reins from eight year head coach Larry Sullivan, who stepped down from the position in March.
Johnson & Wales Takes Top Spot of 2009 Men's GNAC Cross Country Championship
60 degrees with a bit of a wind, but it was a great day for a run as 12 GNAC schools gathered on the campus of Rivier College to partake in the 2009 GNAC Cross Country Championship Race.

GNAC Student-Athletes To Volunteer At The 6th Annual Brian J. Honan 5K Road Race
The Great Northeast Athletic Conference will continue its tradition of volunteering at The 6th Annual Brian J. Honan 5K Road Race, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 20th at noon. Last year over 100 GNAC student-athletes volunteered at the Brian Honan 5K by directing people to the parking lots, registering the more than 1000 runners, cutting oranges, carrying ice, and supporting runners and walkers along the three mile course.
JWU Men's Cross Country Crowned 2008 GNAC Champions
Johnson & Wales returned to the winners circle for the first time since winning three consecutive championships from 1995 to 1997. The Wildcats placed six runners in the top ten, led by James Vance (2nd) and Rookie of the Year Kyle Reiss (3rd). Saint Joseph's Ryan Prescott (Runner of the Year) ran away from the rest of the field, setting a new course record and becoming only the third mens cross country multiple winner.

Norwich Men's Cross Country Claims 2007 GNAC Championship
STANDISH, Maine - John Pomeroy, Zach Charney and Brendan Thompson all placed within the Top 10 to lead the Norwich men's cross country team to its third straight GNAC Championship on Saturday afternoon. The Cadets put together 42 points and outdistance runner-up St. Joseph's (Maine) by 29 markers.
