Lasell's Caitlyn Murphy Named to ECAC Women's Lacrosse All-Star Team

Lasell College senior attack Caitlyn Murphy (Kathonah, NY) has been named to the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) All-Star Second Team. 

Murphy has led the Lasers in goals all year long.  She finished the 2009 season with 71 goals, plus eleven assists, for 82 total points.  Murphy scored four game winning goals, scored three times while down a player, and once while the Lasers were up a player.  She also added 13 ground balls and six draw controls this year.

Murphy was the 2008 co-Player of the Year in the GNAC, and the Rookie of the Year in the NEWLA in 2006. As Murphy's career at Lasell comes to a close, she holds numerous records for the Lasers.  She is second all-time in career goals (242), career assists (46), and career points (288).  Murphy is also tied for 1st for most goals in a game (11).  Murphy was also honored twice this season as Player of the Week in the GNAC.
