Parente Joins GNAC Staff as Special Reporter
Former Johnson & Wales University Executive Director of Athletics John Parente will join the Great Northeast Athletic Conference as a Special Reporter, it was announced by GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh earlier today.
BOSTON, Mass. – Former Johnson & Wales University Executive Director of Athletics John Parente will join the Great Northeast Athletic Conference as a Special Reporter, it was announced by GNAC Commissioner Joe Walsh earlier today. Parente, who served as the Wildcats AD for many years, will periodically produce stories of interest both for general publication and as well as for use on the GNAC website.
“The GNAC is very excited to have John join our staff as a Special Reporter,” said Walsh. “His wealth of knowledge in Division III athletics and experience in the field will prove to be a huge asset for everyone in our office.”
Parente was recently honored at the 2012 Great Northeast Athletic Conference Professional Development Seminar, receiving the Commissioner’s Award for his longtime excellence and service to the conference.
