GNAC Weekly Honors for April 6, 2009
Saint Joseph's (ME) junior Michael Burdin was selected as the GNAC Baseball Player of the Week, Lasell freshmen was named GNAC Baseball Rookie of the Week, and Johnson & Wales senior Ryan Morgan was sselected GNAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

Michael Burdin Saint Joseph's (Me.) Gardiner, ME JR
Burdin was a pivotal player for the Monks in a 5-0 week, hitting .650 (13-20) with four doubles, a triple, a home run, 13 runs and 11 RBI's to go with a 1.100 slugging percentage. The junior infielder became the second player in program history to hit for the cycle when he achieved the feat in the second game of a doubleheader with Rivier College on Saturday.
Rookie of Week
Mike Mahoney Lasell Rockland, Mass. FR
Mahoney had an incredible week for the Lasers in five games, including a pair of wins on the mound over Daniel Webster and Norwich and also leading the Lasers with seven hits, six runs, four RBI's, and a home run in a 3-3 week for Lasell.
Pitcher of Week
Ryan Morgan Johnson & Wales Exeter, RI SR
In the Wildcats win over Rivier, Morgan went six strong innings, allowing no runs on two hits with six strikeouts.
