PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jason Shell, Anna Maria (Gr., OF/ LHP - Sandwich, Mass.) - Shell slashed .583 / .643 / .750 for the week with two doubles, two walks, six runs scored and three runs batted in. At press time and ahead of the GNAC's All-Conference announcement next Monday, Shell was leading the GNAC in hits, hitting, triples and slugging.

PITCHER / ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Nick Choate, Anna Maria (Fr., RHP/INF - Grafton, Mass.) - Choate capped off his incredible rookie season with a complete game shutout win over GNAC rival Norwich on Friday, as he struck out 11 Cadets and allowed just two hits and two walks over seven innings. At press time, Choate was leading the entire nation in fewest hits allowed per nine innings pitched, and ranked ninth in the NCAA in strikeouts per nine innings.

GNAC HONOR ROLL
Drew Healey, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (GR, IF - Rochester, N.H.) - Healey hit .545 (6-11) with three runs, a home run, five RBI, and two stolen bases in a 4-0 week for the Monks. The grad student infielder went 3-for-7 with two runs, a homer, two RBI and a stolen base in a doubleheader sweep at Lasell on Saturday.
