2025 GNAC Baseball All-Conference Teams Announced
WINTHROP, Mass. – The Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) announced its 2025 Baseball All-Conference Teams and major award winners on Tuesday afternoon. Mitchell had seven named to the All-Conference Team, which led all schools this past season.
Voting was conducted by the league’s 13 baseball head coaches following the regular season and did not take postseason play into account.
Lasell's Tim Callahan was voted Player of the Year while JWU's Aidan Vining earned Pitcher of the Year. USJ's Jack Kane was voted Rookie of the Year and Blue Jays Head Coach Adam Goss was chosen by his peers as the Coach of the Year. Saint Joseph’s (Maine) earned the Institutional Sportsmanship award.

PLAYER OF THE YEAR Tim Callahan, Lasell Tim Callahan brought consistency at the plate for the Lasers this season, finishing as one of the top hitters in the GNAC. The Attleboro, Mass. Senior displayed a .425% batting average, .497% on base percentage, 68 hits, and a league-leading 18 doubles. Most of these categories placed him in the top-40 in the nation. Callahan was very reliable and sneaky when getting to another base as he collected 25 stolen bases, which were good for fourth in the conference. As a result, he touched home plate 45 times, which was also good for fourth in the conference. In the 41 games he appeared in, he recorded multi-hit games in 23 of them. Callahan was named GNAC Player of the Week once this past season. |

PITCHER OF THE YEAR Aidan Vining, Johnson & Wales Aidan Vining collected his third consecutive Pitcher of the Year honors after yet another great season on the mound for the Wildcats. The Woburn, Mass. Junior went 9-0 in 12 appearances, in which five of those were complete games and two were shutouts in 85.2 innings of work in which all were league-leading numbers. The JWU ace didn’t stop just there as he led the GNAC in strikeouts with 108 (good for fourth in DIII) and posted a league-leading 2.21 earned run average as well. Vining had 10 games of seven or more strikeouts with five of them reaching double digit marks. His excellence on the mound led to four GNAC Pitcher of the Week honors this season. |

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR Jack Kane, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) Jack Kane made quite the impression on the league this season as a first-year. The West Hartford, Conn. freshman was reliable at the plate, earning a .428% batting average (second in conference/Top 35 in DIII) and a league-leading 77 hits (third in the nation) as well as a GNAC leading 100 total bases. Kane had 27 games of multiple hits, including nine games of three or more hits. Kane was also named GNAC Rookie of the Week three times along with earning two Player of the Week honors. |

COACH OF THE YEAR Adam Goss, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) Adam Goss led his crew to a 25-18 (10-6 GNAC) record as USJ led in some offensive categories under his leadership this season. The Blue Jays led the league in hits (431), Extra Base Hits (122), Doubles (82), and Triples (21) as his crew totaled 612 bases, which was good for second in the conference. His mound crew was just as impressive, holding hitters to a league-leading .260% average. |
