PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jake Carlisle, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (So.)
Sophomore Jake Carlisle kicked off the 2026 season by going 6-for-9 (.667) with a run and two RBI in a doubleheader sweep at Bowdoin College on Saturday. The sophomore outfielder went 2-for-4 with an RBI in the opener and capped the day by going 4-for-5 with a run scored and an RBI in the nightcap.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Brandon Cahill, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Sr.)
On Opening Day against Gordon College, senior Brandon Cahill anchored the Blue Jays with five solid innings of work. The senior right-hander yielded just four hits and one earned run while punching out seven.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Case Lachance, Dean (Fr.)
Freshman Case Lachance went 3-4 with four RBIs, a stolen base, run scored, and a walk in Dean's 9-8 win in extra innings over Fitchburg State on Feb. 19th. Lachance scored the winning run to give Dean the win.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Dylan Watson, Colby-Sawyer - Watson was one of the spotlights for the Chargers during the weekend in Middlebury. Dylan would total six at bats with two hits in those at bats. He would drive in three runs during game two on a double and a walk. He would finish the weekend with a .333 average and .429 batting average.
Ryan Roco, Dean - Roco pitched three innings of relief in a extra-inning win over Fitchburg State with five strikeouts and no hits allowed.
Alex Ramos, Mitchell - Ramos went 3-for-8 in two games with one double and two RBI against no. 3 Kean on Feb 21.
Brady Philibotte, New England College - Philibotte was an on-base machine in four games for the Pilgrims, tallying three hits and five walks for an .471 on-base percentage, .583 slugging percentage, and a 1.054 OPS. He had six RBIs on the week including a five-RBI performance against VTSU-Lyndon on Sunday capped off with the game-winning grand slam in an 8-4 victory.
Dylan Brander, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Brander tossed a complete-game (seven inning) gem, allowing two runs off three hits with three strikeouts in a 4-2 victory at Bowdoin College on Saturday.
Sam Balducci, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Balducci wasted no time making an impact in his first collegiate action, batting .333 with a .455 on-base percentage and .444 slugging mark over two starts. The rookie tallied four RBI and four total bases, notched an extra-base hit, and was perfect in the field in 7-2 and 13-3 wins over Gordon College (2/27) and Rhode Island College (2/28), respectively.
Joseph Fritz, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Fritz started his junior year off red-hot, batting .500 (4-for-8) with a .636 OBP and .500 SLG across the Blue Jays' first two games. He contributed three RBI, four runs scored, and a stolen base in 7-2 and 13-3 wins over and Gordon College (2/27) and Rhode Island College (2/28), respectively.
