PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dom Scalia, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Sr.)
Senior Dom Scalia put together an impressive week across two games, highlighted by a walk‑off solo home run, as the Blue Jays went 2–0 to extend their win streak to four to open the 2026 season. The senior finished the week 4-for-6 (.667) at the plate with a .750 on‑base percentage and a 1.500 slugging percentage. Two of his four hits went for extra bases, including a triple and his first home run of the year. He also scored three runs and drove in three. Scalia opened the week by going 2-for-3 with a triple, two RBI, and two runs scored in an 8–7 home win over Nichols on Wednesday (3/4). He followed that with another 2-for-3 performance, adding an RBI and a run scored, capped by a one‑out walk‑off solo home run in the bottom of the final inning to lift the Blue Jays past Mount St. Joseph on Sunday (3/8) in the team’s opening game of the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Ty Lohsen, Lasell (Jr.)
Junior Ty Lohsen fanned 11 batters while pitching a complete game no hitter in his first appearance on the season in a 12-0 win over Franciscan.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Anthony Osella, Elms (Fr.)
Freshman Anthony Osella went 3-7 with an RBI, two stolen bases, and five walks for the Blazers on a .429 batting average, a .692 on base percentage, and a .571 slugging percentage.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Eric Galarza, Albertus Magnus - Galarza went 5-for-10 in a 1-1 week for Falcons with five RBIs, including four in win over Gordon on Sunday.
Mike McLeer, Colby-Sawyer - McLeer had a great weekend for the Chargers despite the results. Mike finished with four total hits in 9 at bats hitting .444 over the span of two games. He would drive in four runs, while also delivering his first home run of the season while also hitting a double and coming across to score three times himself. McLeer would total eight total bases and was a spotlight for the Chargers during their double header against Mass. Maritime.
Kyler Lorenz, Dean - Lorenz went 2-4 with a walk, run scored, and three RBIs in 8-7 win over Otterbein in extra innings. He had a walk-off single in the bottom of the tenth to give Dean the win.
Connor Freitas, Lasell - Freitas went 4-for-4 with three RBI's and two walks across a 2-0 week for Lasell.
Brady Philibotte, New England College - Philibotte batted an even .500 with eight hits across 16 at-bats in four games for the Pilgrims. He had three doubles, slugging .688 with a .526 on-base percentage. The graduate infielder drove in six runs and scored three times.
Trevor Lussier, Norwich - Lussier was a key contributor in Norwich's Florida trip this week, slashing .500/.545/1.200 which included 4 doubles and a home run.
Paul Donnelly, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Donnelly shined in his Saint Joseph’s debut on Sunday, fanning nine and yielding just two hits and two walks over six scoreless innings against Vassar College.
