PLAYER OF THE WEEK Sydney Gonyea, Simmons (Sr., F) Senior Forward Sydney Gonyea put on an offensive clinic for the Sharks this past week, collecting 14 total points on the week and guiding them to an undefeated week in GNAC play. Gonyea started conference play strong, chipping in a goal and two assists for Simmons in a 5-0 shutout victory on the road over Lasell. She followed up with a career single-game high five goals while reaching the 200th career point mark in a 14-0 victory over Elms. Currently, the senior is ranked second in the conference and third in the nation in goals per game (1.62). |

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Alison Michalik, Simmons (Sr., D) Senior defensive back Alison Michalik spearheaded a Simmons defense that did not allow a single goal in conference play this past week, leading to a 2-0 week in conference play. As the leader, Michalik led a Sharks defense that only allowed five total shots on the week. The senior also chipped in her first collegiate goal against Elms. Simmons has six shutouts as a team this season, including a three-game shutout streak. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Kylie Coupal, Rivier (Sr., GK) Senior Goalkeeper Kylie Coupal collected two wins while stopping 23 shots from going in the net. She started the week with 18 saves against the No. 4 scoring offense in Division III in Keene State. Coupal proceeded to collect three more saves in thirty minutes in a win against Salem State and followed up with two saves in 45 minutes of action in a GNAC victory over Anna Maria. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Emily Yazzetti, Dean (Fr., F) First-year Forward Emily Yazzetti guided the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week in conference play as she collected nine points on the week. She started the week off strong against Elms, collecting a hat trick and two assists for eight points. Then, the first-year assisted on the game-winning overtime goal against Regis. She is currently first in the conference in assists (seven) and tied for third in goals (13) and points (33). |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Sophia Brea, Johnson & Wales – Collected two victories with a 0.57 goals against average for the Wildcats.
Haleen Seguin, Lasell – Collected a hat trick and one assist for seven points in a non-conference victory over Gordon.
Makenzie Anderson, New England College – Collected a shutout victory over Saint Joseph’s (Maine) and picked up another win over the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) with four saves.
Madison Bovill, Rivier – Had a 12 point week, collecting five goals and two assists in a 2-1 week.
Kassidy Collins, Saint Joseph’s (Maine) – Collected 15 saves for the Monks in two games.
Abbie Jacques, Saint Joseph’s (Maine) – Collected four goals in a win over Albertus Magnus.
