Offensive Player Of The Week
Sydnee Ramos, Dean (Sr.)
Senior Sydnee Ramos delivered an outstanding offensive performance this week, leading Dean to two conference victories. She posted a double-brace performance with four goals against Albertus Magnus and followed with a hat trick (three goals) and one assist against Regis. Ramos leads the GNAC in goals with 17, which also ranks in the top-10 nationally.
Defensive Player Of The Week
Martina Hill, New England College (Sr.)
Senior Martina Hill led the charge of a league-leading NEC defense that dominated to the tune of three shutouts this week, earning wins over Colby-Sawyer, Elms, and UMaine-Farmington. Hill made a huge defensive save in the key 2-0 win over the Chargers, who were previously undefeated in GNAC play. Hill and company limited their opponents to just five shots on goal in three games.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
McKenna Ecker, Lasell (Sr.)
Senior McKenna Ecker earned two conference victories for the Lasers this past week while posting a strong week in net. Ecker started the week with seven saves in their 6-2 win over Rivier before collecting 10 saves in a 2-1 victory over Simmons, collecting 17 on the week with a .850% save percentage.
Rookie of the Week
Ava Markham, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman Ava Markham put together another strong week as the Monks went 2-1. The freshman forward notched an assist in a overtime setback at USM, recorded a goal and two helpers in a victory at Elms, and closed the week with a goal and an assist in a win at Albertus Magnus. Markham is currently second in the GNAC in assists with nine, which is top-five in DIII as well.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brooke Farquhar, Colby-Sawyer - Had a record-breaking week for the Chargers in a 1-1 during their game against Maine Farmington. She dropped 5 goals in the game and added an assist to give her an 11 point day. She became the program leader single game goals, and most points in a single game.
Shea Cassani, Dean - Spearheaded a Bulldogs defense that didn't allow a single goal in two wins over Albertus Magnus and Regis.
Mara Boldy, Lasell - Had two goals and an assist in a 6-2 conference victory over Rivier.
Isabella O'Reilly, Lasell - Had 2 key defensive saves this week while anchoring a Lasell defense that allowed 1.5 goals a game across two GNAC victories over Rivier and Simmons.
Makenzie Anderson, New England College - It was a three-win, two shutout week for Anderson as the senior didn't allow a single goal across 150 minutes of action. She made four saves as she expanded her conference lead in both save percentage (.902) and goals-against average (0.46).
Kira Geddes, New England College - Played a big role in NEC's 3-0 week, scoring four goals for the Pilgrims including two game-winners. In Wednesday's pivotal matchup against Colby-Sawyer, Geddes scored the game's only two goals helping NEC prevail in the battle of GNAC unbeatens. The sophomore added goals against both Elms and UMaine-Farmington this weekend to improve her total to 14 on the season.
Allayna Martone, Regis - Recorded 42 saves over three starts for the Pride last week, averaging 14.0 saves per game while posting a .724 save percentage across 180 minutes of action. She tallied 14 saves at Clark, followed by a standout 16-save performance against Simmons where she posted an .842 save percentage, and added 12 more stops at Dean.
Kienna Haley, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Delivered another stellar week, racking up seven goals and an assist over a three-game stretch that saw the Monks go 2-1. She opened with a tally in a 3-2 overtime battle at USM on Monday, erupted for four goals in an 8-0 victory at Elms on Wednesday, and closed the week by contributing two goals and an assist in a 10-2 triumph at Albertus Magnus on Saturday.
Ariana Komonaj, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Scored three goals in a 2-0 week for the Blue Jays, including the game-winning goal in each contest.
