Offensive Player Of The Week
Brianna Spinelli, Rivier (Jr.)
Junior Brianna Spinelli totaled 10 points on four goals and two assists in the 2-0 (1-0 GNAC) week for the Raiders. Spinelli recorded a goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over Framingham St. and added three goals and an assist in the win over Elms.
Defensive Player Of The Week
Sophia Quinlan, Rivier (Jr.)
Junior Sophia Quinlan scored her first collegiate goal on her first ever shot in her collegiate career as a defender in the 10-0 win over Elms.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
McKenna Ecker, Lasell (Sr.)
Senior McKenna Ecker collected two wins for the Lasers, amassing 17 saves for a .944 save percentage and a 0.57 goals against average. Ecker collected three saves in 45 minutes against UMass Dartmouth before clinching the fifth spot in a win over USJ, backstopping 14 saves in a 2-1 win.
Rookie of the Week
Mary Kelley, Rivier (Fr.)
Freshman Mary Kelley totaled seven points on three goals and one assist in the 2-0 (1-0 GNAC) week for the Raiders as she scored the game winning goal in the 3-1 win over Framingham St. and added two goals and an assist in the win over Elms.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brooke Farquhar, Colby-Sawyer - Led the Chargers with another hat-trick in the last GNAC game of the season in a 8-1 win over Albertus Magnus to help secure the third seed for playoffs.
Sara Gardner, Dean - Collected six saves for a .857 save percentage in a win over Simmons.
Emily Yazzetti, Dean - Scored the game-winning goal to clinch the top seed for Dean in a road victory over Simmons.
Ruby Weidner, Lasell - Netted a hat-trick in a 3-1 win over UMass Dartmouth.
Makenzie Anderson, New England College - Made 14 saves with a .857 save percentage and 1.44 goals-against average across two games this week.
Maya Waryas, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Tallied six points with two goals and two assists in a 7-1 victory over UMaine-Farmington on Wednesday.
Grace Kociszewski, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Totaled nine points in a 1-1 week for USJ with four goals and one assist. Kociszewski turned in a record-breaking performance on Wednesday night (Oct. 22) in a 4-0 victory versus Hartford, scoring all four goals for the Blue Jays, which was the most ever by a USJ player in a single game. She added an assist to bring her season point total to 37 on Saturday (Oct. 25) in a tight 2-1 setback versus Lasell.
