Player Of The Week
Robenson Baguidy, Rivier (Sr.)
Senior guard Robenson Baguidy paced the Raiders to a 1-1 week after averaging 26.5 points on 50.0% shooting with seven rebounds and two steals. Baguidy recorded 26 points, nine rebounds, and three assists in their 72-70 win over Emmanuel before collecting 27 points on 58.8% (10-for-17) with five rebounds and two steals in a conference opener against Dean. The senior currently leads in points per game (19.9), total points (279), steals (38), assists (84), field goals made (95) and free throws made (72).
Rookie Of The Week
Danny Adams, Emmanuel (Fr.)
Freshman guard Danny Adams led the Saints on the offensive side of the ball this week, averaging 15 points per game off the bench on 61.1% percent in a 1-1 week. Adams went 5-for-7, netting 11 points in a close setback to Rivier while adding four rebounds and two steals before bouncing back with 19 points in 19 minutes off 6-for-11 shooting with three rebounds and four steals in a 92-67 conference opening victory over Colby-Sawyer.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Ray Ford Jr., Albertus Magnus - Stuffed the stat sheet in a 80-70 conference-opening victory over Regis, scoring 23 points and grabbing a team-high eight rebounds with four assists three steals and two blocks.
Andy Madesko, Lasell - Put up 21 points, seven rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks in a setback to Brandeis before scoring 11 points and dishing seven assists in a 86-55 win over New England College.
Abdul Mansaray, Mitchell - Turned in a dominant all-around performance in Mitchell's lone game on the week, posting 22 points on an efficient 10-of-15 shooting while playing 38 minutes against Saint Joseph’s College (ME). He controlled the glass with nine rebounds, protected the rim with five blocks, and added two assists and two steals, impacting the game on both ends of the floor.
Michel Ndayishimiye, Norwich - Led the Cadets to a 63-49 victory over USCAA-nationally ranked VTSU Randolph on Thursday, pouring in a game-high 21 points while shooting 50.0% from the field. The Colchester, Vt., native added seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals with just one turnover in 34 minutes of action.
Jamir Harvey, Regis - Averaged 20.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists over two games while shooting 80 percent from the free-throw line. Harvey scored 19 points in a 77–73 win over Gordon on January 6, going 11-for-14 at the line and adding three rebounds, two assists, four steals, and a block. He followed with 22 points, six rebounds, and three assists on January 10 against Albertus Magnus, shooting 8-for-18 from the field and 5-for-6 at the stripe. In the matchup against Albertus, Harvey also eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for his career, doing so in 89 games.
Friedrich Feldrappe, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Averaged 15.5 points in a 2-0 week for the Blue Jays. Scored 20 points on 6-for-9 shooting in 84-58 win over Hamilton before netting 11 points in a 78-65 win over Elms.
Deivone Tanksley Jr., University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Averaged 12.5 points and 10 rebounds a game for USJ, highlighted by a 18 point-15 rebound double-double over Elms.
