Player Of The Week
Robenson Baguidy, Rivier (Sr.)
Rivier guard Robenson Baguidy guided the Raiders in a 2-1 week, averaging 19.7 points per game on 58.5% from the floor with six assists, 5.7 rebounds, and five steals. Baguidy started his week with a 15 pt, seven assist, and four steal outing in a win over former GNAC opponent JWU. He added back-to-back 22 point games against Nichols and Colby, contributing seven rebounds in both games. He added six assists and seven steals in the 82-68 win over Nichols and five assists and four steals against Colby.
Rookie Of The Week
Davis Mann, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman guard Davis Mann scored 15 points with three rebounds, three assists, and two steals while shooting 63.6% (7-11) from the floor in an 89-69 victory at Husson University on Saturday.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Jayquan Kirkland, Albertus Magnus - Averaged 20.7 points per game with four rebounds for the Falcons. Kirkland tied his career high with 26 points against Babson.
Randy Vasquez, Dean - Put up 13.7 ppg and 9.7 rebounds a game in a 2-1 week. Notched a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds in win over Lesley.
Noah Beaudet, Emmanuel - Scored 25 points (8-11) and collected six boards with two steals in a 90-80 win over Roger Williams.
Esmer Madesko, Lasell - Scored 19.5 points per game and collected 5.5 assists with 2.5 steals in a 2-0 week. Dropped 31 points with five boards, eight assists, and three steals in a 98-90 win over Wentworth.
Josh Robie, New England College - Sophomore guard Josh Robie delivered another standout week, helping lead his team to a 3-0 week. He opened the stretch with 18 points on 77.8% shooting in a 91-85 win at Curry College, then followed with 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists in a tight 75-74 victory over Gordon College. He added 11 points in a 67-58 win over Paul Smith's on Saturday. For the week, the Bethlehem, N.H. native averaged 15.0 points while adding 3.0 rebounds and 2.3 steals.
Jamir Harvey, Regis - Averaged 17 points on 58.8% shooting and seven rebounds during a 2-1 week for the Pride. He opened his senior season with a 16-point (6-12), 10-rebound double-double in a 77-71 win over Anna Maria. He then delivered another efficient outing with 20 points on 9-14 shooting and seven boards in a loss to Salve. Harvey capped the week with 15 points (5-8) and four rebounds in just 17 minutes during an overtime victory over Lesley.
Izaiah Shaw-Glen, Rivier - Averaged 18 ppg, 6.7 reb/g, and 1.3 blk/g in the 2-1 week for the Raiders. Scored a career-high 31 points on 61% shooting, with nine rebounds and two blocks in the 82-68 win over Nichols. Added 16 points and eight rebounds with a block against Colby.
John Paul Frazier, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Scored 20 points with six rebounds while shooting 77.8% (7-9) from the floor, 66.7% (2-3) from three-point distance, and 100% (4-4) from the FT line in an 89-69 victory at Husson University on Saturday.
Lence Altenor, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Averaged 21.0 points per game on 52.6% (20-38 FG) shooting, including 40.0% (6-15 3FG) from three, and 3.7 rebounds per game in a 2-1 week for the 25th-ranked Blue Jays. Opened the week with a career-high 37 points (12-19 FG, 3-6 3FG, 10-12 FT), which was the third-most points scored in a single game in program history, and four rebounds to power USJ to a 79-75 road victory over (RV) Clark on Wednesday night (November 12). Followed that up with 26 points and seven rebounds across two games over the weekend at the FSC Tip-Off Tournament at Farmingdale State College where the Blue Jays first defeated Albright, 71-61, on Saturday (November 15) before falling to SUNY Cortland in the championship game on Sunday, 61-57. Became the sixth player in program history to score 1,000 career points with the Blue Jays with a driving layup at the 7:30 mark in the second half on Sunday against the Red Dragons. Was named to the FSC Tip-Off All-Tournament Team.
