GNAC Men's Golf Report: Week 1
With the championship less than a month away, Saint Joseph's College of Maine has swept the Week 1 awards for GNAC men's golf.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Trevor Flanagan, Saint Joseph's of Maine (Jr., Monmouth, Maine) - Flanagan led the Monks to a pair of team victories in the opening weeks of the season. The junior finished tied atop the field with a 74 card in the 18th Annual John Queenan Memorial Tournament, hosted by Saint Joseph's on Wednesday. He opened the season with a 75 card, good for fifth overall, in the USM-SJC Duel at the Gorham Country Club on September 1st.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Cade Buckley, Saint Joseph's of Maine (Fr., Peabody, Mass.) - Buckley opened his collegiate career by shooting a one-over par 72 and earning Co-Medalist honors in the USM-SJC Duel on September 1st and placed fifth with a 76 score in the Queenan Memorial Tournament a week later. The freshman standout's play helped the Monks open the 2021 season with a pair of team victories

HONOR ROLL
Ryan Sember, Albertus Magnus (Sr., Branford, Conn.) - Sember helped guide Albertus to a first-place showing at the Mitchell Invite on Wednesday, placing in a tie for second with a one-round score of 78 (+7). Sember carded the lone eagle of the event, on the 18th hole, to go along with a birdie. The Falcons (332) bested Mitchell (345), and Eastern Nazarene (366) to take the top spot in the team's first match of 2021.
