GNAC Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors: March 14, 2011

Dylan Fernandes (Lasell), Dylan Gray (Lasell) and Eric Walsh (Lasell) have earned Great Northeast Athletic Conference’s Men’s Lacrosse Weekly Honors.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Dylan Gray, Lasell, So., Bayport, NY

Lasell’s Dylan Gray played outstanding for Lasell against Roger Williams this past week. The sophomore had an impressive stat line of five assists and one goal, including the assist on the Lasers' game-winner in overtime. Gray averaged two points per game over the three- game week.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Dylan Fernandes, Lasell, Fr., Billerica, MA

Lasell’s rookie, Dylan Fernandes, tallied one assist against Roger Williams University and added two goals against Plymouth State University for a three point week. Fernandes is averaging a point per game.

GOALIE OF THE WEEK

Eric Walsh, Lasell, Sr., Weymouth, MA

Lasell’s goalie, Eric Walsh, made 50 total saves in a three game week for the Lasers. Walsh averaged over 16 saves per game in the cage. The senior goalie made 15 saves against Bates, 20 saves against Roger Williams in the Lasers' first win of the season, and 15 saves against Plymouth State.
