Player of the Week
Dan Knupfer (Corfu, N.Y.), Sophomore, Midfielder, Daniel Webster College
The sophomore from Daniel Webster had major contributions in the Eagles first win of the season, a 10-5 victory over Green Mountain College. The midfielder poured in 4 goals and added an assist on the day. Knupfer fired off 11 shots on the day, with seven shots on goal. He also collected two groundballs in the win.
Rookie of the Week
Kaile Maclean-Daley (Moretown,Vt.), Freshman, Attacker, Emmanuel College
MacLean-Daley continued to stay hot for Emmanuel, scoring four goals on the week including a hat trick in the Saints 9-4 victory over cross-town foes UMass Boston. The rookie continued his assault of the back of the net, connecting on 44.4 percent of his shots on the week with an incredible 88.9% shots on goal accuracy rate. MacLean-Daley also notched two groundballs and scored a man-down goal for EC on their 1-1 week.
Goalie of the Week
Joshua Giarratano (Warwick, R.I.), Freshman, Goalie, Anna Maria College
The freshman net minder picked up his first collegiate win, an 8-6 victory over Husson University. Giarratano made eight saves for the AMCATS, two saves in each of the first two periods and four total in the second half. The AMCATS even their record at 1-1.
