Player of the Week
Robbie Palazzo (Reading Conn.), Sophomore, Attackman, Lasell College
Palazza helped Lasell to three GNAC wins this week, tallying 18 points. The sophomore attackman scored 13 goals and passed out five assists, including a career-high seven goals in a 19-12 win against Becker College. He also put together a stellar performance in a 15-7 win over Rivier when he scored five times and scooped up seven groundballs.
Goalie of the Week
David Walen (Longmeadow, Mass.), Sophomore, Goalie, Lasell College
Walen helped the Lasers post a 3-0 record on the week, notching all three victories in goal for Lasell. The sophomore registered 23 saves on the week including 10 saves in a 15-7 GNAC victory over Rivier University. Over the three GNAC wins, Walen posted a 7.16 goals against average and an impressive .575 save percentage
Rookie of the Week
Kyle Graham (Londonderry, N.H.), Freshman, Midfielder, Rivier University
Graham won 9 of the 16 face-offs he took in a 10-9 win over Anna Maria to go along with two assists, eight ground-balls, while creating seven turnovers. In a 9-6 win over Emerson, the freshman won 9 of 12 draws at the face-off while gathering nine groundballs, He added a goal and an assist to his stat line. A member of Rivier's Man-Down unit, Kyle's efforts strongly contributed to Emerson scoring zero goals in seven Man-Up attempts. Graham won seven face-offs and handed out four assists in a loss to Lasell College Thursday. Playing in his 4th GNAC game in seven days, Graham was a bright spot on the offensive side of the ball with two goals and one assist in a 6-4 loss at Emmanuel on Saturday.
