JWU's Mike Catuosco and SJC's Tim Goodfellow split Week 4 GNAC Player of the Week honors.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK Mike Catuosco, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Sr., D - Commack, N.Y.) - Catuosco won 84% of his face-offs (36-of-43) as part of a 2-0 week for the Wildcats. He also collected 30 ground balls and scored the game-winner in a thrilling 11-9 win over Norwich on Saturday. He opened the week by filling the stat sheet with 13 ground balls and five caused turnovers (15-of-20 at the X) in a road win at NEC. Catuosco then dominated the X against the Cadets, winning an astounding 21-of-23 draws. With the game tied at nine in the fourth quarter, Catuosco won the draw, ran through the defense and buried his fifth goal of the season to propel the Wildcats to their first win over Norwich since 2018. |

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK Tim Goodfellow, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Junior, A - Wayland, Mass.) - Goodfellow tallied seven goals and 19 assists for a total of 26 points in a 1-1 week for the Monks. The junior attack enjoyed a career day in a 29-13 win at Southern Maine on Wednesday, tying the NCAA DIII record with 15 assists and breaking the Monks' single-game points record (8) after netting three goals. He also surpassed the 100-career point plateau in the lopsided triumph. Goodfellow also scored four goals with four assists in a hard-fought 17-14 setback at Emmanuel on Saturday.

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Trey McCann, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., GK - Simsbury, Conn.) - McCann stopped 34 of 51 shots in 158:55 minytes for a stellar .667 save percentage in a 2-1 week for the Blue Jays. In victories over Anna Maria and Manhattanville, he stopped 19 of 26 shots, before stopping 15 of 25 shots in a 10-7 setback against Hartford, which is transitioning from DivisionII this year to Division_III next year.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Cole Cloney, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr, A/M - Medfield, Mass.) - Cloney registered six points on five goals and one assist in a 2-0 week for the Saints. The rookie started the week two goals and one assist in a big 9-8 road win over Rivier, scoring the go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter to propel the Saints to victory. In EC's home opener, he added three goals in a 17-14 win over Saint Joseph's of Maine, while also adding three ground balls on the week. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Matthew Hutchings, Albertus Magnus (Fr., A - Mt. Kisco, N.Y.) - Hutchings tallied 12 points for Albertus in a 1-1 week, scoring 10 goals to go along with two assists while also notching four ground balls. The freshman kicked off the week recording his fifth hat trick of the season in the Falcons' 14-5 win over Purchase before tallying a career-high six goals and an assist in Albertus' 16-13 setback to Rivier.
Jon Olson, Albertus Magnus (Sr., A - Bellmore, N.Y.) - Olson registered five goals and nine assists for 14 points in a 1-1 week for the Falcons. In Albertus' 14-5 win over Purchase, the senior attackman recorded his third straight hat trick and tied his season-high in assists with seven. Olson closed out the week, notching four points behind two goals and two assists in the Falcons' 16-13 road loss to Rivier.
Ryan Castle, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr, A - Boxford, Mass.) - Castle helped lead the Emmanuel offensive scheme in a 2-0 week with seven points on five goals and two assists. Most of the damage came in the Saints' 17-14 win over Saint Joseph's of Maine, scoring a game-high four goals while adding two assists in EC's home-opener. He added a goal in a 9-8 road win over Rivier and also collected five ground balls on the week to help Emmanuel remain unbeaten in GNAC play (3-0).
Patrick Mulhern, Lasell (Graduate Student, A) - Mulhern posted five goals and four assists for nine points in a 2-0 week, registering four goals in a road win over Dean before notching one goal and four helpers in just one half of play in a win over Anna Maria.
Jack Tauson, Lasell (Freshman, A) - Tauson had nine goals and one assist for 10 points in a 2-0 week. After scoring five goals with one assist against Dean, he posted four goals and with two ground balls in just one half of action against Anna Maria.
Mitchell McKay, Norwich (Jr, A - Lynnfield, Mass.) - McKay had a standout week in a pair of thrillers for the Cadets, connecting on five goals, including tying a career-high with four at JWU, while also dishing out two helpers to finish with seven points. McKay also scooped up four ground balls.
Michael Ference, Rivier (Jr., A - Salem, N.H.) - Ference had another solid week for the Raiders netting eight goals with two assists for a total of 10 points. His best game came against Albertus Magnus, where he went off for five goals and an assist.
Evan Baden, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., M - Burlington, Conn.) - Paced USJ during a 2-1 week, tallying18 points from 14 goals and 5 assists. Started the week with a five goal outing during an 18-4 win against Anna Maria. Recorded his 100th career point during a 16-5 win at Manhattanville, finishing with five goals and four assists. Rounded out the week with three goals and an assist against Hartford.
Tiger Hopkins, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Freshman, A - Leeds, Maine) - Hopkins netted five goals with seven assists for 12 total points in a 1-1 week for the Monks. The freshman attack tallied three goals and four assists in a huge win over Southern Maine on Wednesday and added two goals and three helpers in a 17-14 setback at Emmanuel on Saturday.
