PLAYER OF THE WEEK Diego Alvarez-Segee, Dean (Jr., A - Saugus, Mass.) - Led the Bulldogs to a 2-0 week against GNAC opponents with 14 points on 11 goals and three assists. Began the week with a game best seven points on five goals and a couple assists in the team's 14-5 victory over Saint Joseph. Ended the week by posting game highs of seven points and six goals, to go with an assist, in a 16-5 road win at Albertus Magnus. Added seven ground balls and a couple of caused turnovers during the week. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Michael Catalano, Lasell (So., G - Norwood, Mass.) - Denied 17 shots by Rivier to help Lasell pick up a 10-8 conference victory. Had a 68.0 save percentage and a 8.00 goals-against average.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Tiger Hopkins, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr,, A - Leeds, Maine) - Tallied six goals and three assists in a 1-1 conference week for the Monks. The freshman attack netted four goals with a pair of assists in the program's first-ever victory over Norwich on Saturday. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Randy Castle, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr., GK - Boxford, Mass.) - Posted a 2-0 record for Emmanuel making 22 total saves while registering an impressive .759 save percentage on the week. His marque performance came on Saturday in a battle of the last two unbeaten teams in the GNAC and the senior rose to the occasion making 19 saves in Emmanuel?s 13-6 victory over Johnson & Wales.
Ryan Castle, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr., A - Boxford, Mass.) - Led the Saints offensive output with 11 points on five goals and six assists over two Emmanuel victories. Opened the week with two goals and three helpers in a win vs. Regis before a three goal, three assist afternoon vs. Johnson & Wales University. He also added three groundballs and caused one turnover for the Saints in their 2-0 week.
Sawyer Gagnon, Rivier (Jr., G - Gorham, Maine) - Bolstered a 53.8 save percentage this past week. Held the Monks to just eight goals in a 13-8 victory and just ten against Lasell in a loss. Racked up 21 saves overall, with 10 coming against St. Joe's and 11 against the Lasell.
Brannon Gilbert, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Sr., G - Gray, Maine) - Backstopped the Monks to their first-ever victory over Norwich by making 20 saves in a 16-12 triumph over the Cadets at the SJC Athletics Complex on Saturday. For the week, made 28 saves with a 52.8% save percentage.
Jayme Hollimion, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., GK - Blacksburg, Va.) - Led the Blue Jays to a 9-2 victory over Regis College, playing all 60 minutes in between the pipes. Tallied nine saves while allowing only two goals to earn his first win of the season.
Jeffrey Potter, Rivier (Sr., A - North Bennington, Vt.) - Had an impressive week racking up 13 points with seven goals and six assists. Helped lead the Raiders to a win against St. Joe's, where he had five goals and five assists.
James Rollins, Dean (Sr., GK - Old Lyme, Conn.) - Picked up a couple of GNAC wins in goal for the Bulldogs last week. Posted a 4.57 goals against and a 63.6 save percentage in the wins. Began the week with 13 saves and five goals allowed in the team's 14-5 win over Saint Joseph. Followed with three goals allowed and one save in three quarters of work to help secure a 16-5 road win at Albertus Magnus.
Tyler Seidel, Norwich (Jr., A - Centreville, Md.) - Led the Cadets in points in a 2-1 week, first ripping in four goals in a double-digit romp at Anna Maria. Added a pair of tallies in a double-overtime thriller over intrastate rival Castleton while also scooping up five ground balls. Closed out the week with five points, between three goals and two helpers, in a narrow outing at Saint Joseph's. Finished with 11 points, with two of his goals coming on man-up opportunities, while also logging eight ground balls. His shot on goal percentage was 77.8% for the week.
