PLAYER OF THE WEEK Daniel Varga, New England College (Jr., A) Junior Daniel Varga dominated offensively for New England College this past week as the Hampton, N.J. native collected 23 of the ‘Grims 36 points in two conference victories. Varga was responsible for 11 of the 14 NEC points in their road victory early on in the week against Norwich, collecting seven goals and four assists before gaining 12 more in a home win against Albertus Magnus by finding nine in the back of the net and dishing three helpers in the process. The league-leader in goals (46) and points (72), the junior ranks fifth in the nation in both categories currently. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Trey McCann, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Gr., GK) Graduate student Trey McCann had a strong week for the Blue Jays at net as the Simsbury, Conn. native picked up two victories for USJ, posting a 68.3% save percentage on the week. McCann collected eight against Johnson & Wales before snagging a season-high 20 in a road win over Saint Joseph’s (Maine), totaling 28 saves on the week. The graduate student is currently second in the conference in saves with 128. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jake Marcotte, Norwich (Fr., A) First-year Jake Marcotte had an outstanding week for Norwich as the Old Orchard Beach, Maine native led the team with nine points across two GNAC match-ups. Against New England College, he tallied a three-goal, two-assist performance before Marcotte recorded two goals and two assists, contributing to the Cadets victory over Regis. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Colby Enos, Emmanuel - Collected 12 saves in a win over Saint Joseph's (Maine).
Cooper Melhorn, Emmanuel - Collected nine points in a 2-0 week from six goals and three assists with five goals and two assists coming in a victory vs. Anna Maria.
Jack Condon, Lasell - Collected seven points across two GNAC wins on the week (five goals, two assists).
Sawyer Gagnon, Rivier - Posted 60.9% save percentage with 14 saves in a win over Dean.
Michael Zapatka, Rivier - Scored 10 points in divisional win at Regis before adding two goals and an assist in divisional win at Dean to finish with 13 points and four ground balls on the week.
Evan Baden, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Powered the USJ offense with eight points off five goals and three assists during a perfect 2-0 week. Started with two goals and one assist during a home win against Johnson & Wales before rounding out his week by pacing the team with five points off a hat-trick and two assists during a road win against Saint Joseph's (Maine).
