PLAYER OF THE WEEK Cullen Swett, Norwich (Sr., D) Senior defender Cullen Swett scored his first and second goals of the season for Norwich this week in their lone contest on Friday (Sept. 20) against Regis. Swett played the full 90 minutes of the conference match and recorded three shots, all of which were on goal. His first goal came from a penalty kick in the 31st minute. In the 59th minute, Swett notched the game winner off of a chaotic corner kick to secure the 2-1 win and lift the Cadets over the Pride. |

GOALKEEPER OF THE WEEK Lukas Tate, New England College (So., GK) Sophomore goalkeeper Lukas Tate recorded a shutout for the Pilgrims in a 2-0 conference win against Elms College on Saturday (Sept. 21). Tate recorded four saves in the first half and tacked on another three saves in the second half to keep the Blazers off the score sheet. He is currently tied for first place in the GNAC in goals against average (0.57) and in save percentage (.913).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Aaron Picker, Emmanuel (Fy., D) First-year defender Aaron Picker earns Rookie of the Week Honors after scoring his first and second career collegiate goals in a 3-2 loss against Johnson & Wales. Picker picked up four points on the week after scoring two goals against the defending GNAC champions. He notched two total shots, both of which found the back of the net to keep the game close. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Aidan Bagley, Johnson & Wales - Bagley notched two penalty kick goals this week, one of which was the game winner in a 3-2 win over Emmanuel. Currently leads the GNAC in goals (5) and is in a three-way tie for first in points (10).
Chris Alcon, Regis - Earned his first career collegiate shutout in a 1-0 win over Emmanuel. Played the full 90:00 minutes and posted four total saves. Is currently ranked third in the GNAC for goals against average (0.61) and fourth in save percentage (.909).
Henry McGarrah V, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Lead the Blue Jays to a 2-0 week while scoring one goal against John Jay and then tacking on another goal and an assist against Saint Josephs College (Maine.).
Gus Ford, Saint Joseph's (Maine.) - Tallied seven total points across two games. Scored two goals and added one assist in a 4-0 win vs. Lasell. Tacked on another goal in a 3-1 loss against the University of Saint Joseph (Conn.).
