Player Of The Week
Cole Bishop, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Jr.)
Junior Cole Bishop powered the Monks’ attack with two goals and three assists over a 1-1 week. The junior scored the lone tally in a 3-1 setback to Colby before delivering a standout performance against Lasell, netting a goal and handing out a career-high three assists in a 5-2 conference victory.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Lukas Tate, New England College (Jr.)
Junior Lukas Tate delivered a clutch performance in net, recording seven saves to backstop a 1-0 shutout victory at Emmanuel in conference play. The goalkeeper stood tall against an opponent that reached last year’s GNAC Semifinals, including three critical stops in the final 10 minutes to secure the clean sheet and the big road win.
Rookie Of The Week
Eddy Nyemah, New England College (Fr.)
Freshman Eddy Nyemah made an immediate impact in his first career start, scoring the game-winning goal in a 1-0 conference victory at Emmanuel on Saturday. He finished with two points on one goal, converting his lone shot on target to secure the road win for the Pilgtims.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Lorenzo Lauria, Albertus Magnus - Lauria powered the offense with three goals and an assist across a 2–0 week for Albertus. The forward struck twice and added an assist in a 4–1 victory over Hartford, then followed with the game-winning goal in a 2–0 triumph against Hunter. Through two starts, Lauria is averaging 1.5 goals per game with a .429 shooting percentage and an impressive .857 shots-on-goal rate.
David Lucero, Albertus Magnus - Backstopping a perfect 2-0 week, Lucero posted eight saves and a .889 save percentage while allowing just one goal across 180 minutes. The keeper stopped four shots in a 4-1 win over Hartford and followed with a four-save shutout to blank Hunter, securing the team’s first clean sheet of the season.
Charlie Hall, Dean College - Coming off the bench, Hall made a huge impact with seven saves in just over 30 minutes of action, helping Dean hold off Salem State in a 2-1 victory.
Will Slayton, Uiversity of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - In his first conference start of the season, the sophmore goalkeeper came up big with six saves to secure a 1-0 shutout victory at Norwich.
