Zander Haskell, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)
Junior Zander Haskell delivered a spectacular performance for Saint Joseph’s College (Me.), scoring all three goals in a 3-1 comeback victory over Dean College in the opening round of the GNAC Tournament. The junior transfer showcased his scoring ability with a hat trick on four shots, converting at a .750 rate and putting all attempts on target. The win marked a standout moment in what has been a breakout season for Haskell, who has now tallied eight goals in just 12 games for the Monks.
Goalkeeper Of The Week
Logan Clough, Rivier (Jr.)
Junior Logan Clough was outstanding in goal for the Raiders, backstopping the team to a 2-0 week and its first GNAC semifinal appearance since 2001. Over 200 minutes of play, the keeper recorded 14 total saves while posting an impressive .875 save percentage and a 0.90 goals-against average.
Rookie Of The Week
Lucas Silvia, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr.)
Freshman Lucas Silvia made a strong impact in the GNAC Quarterfinal matchup against Rivier, scoring the team’s lone goal in a 1-1 draw that was ultimately decided by penalty kicks. The forward was highly efficient on the attack, recording three shots—all on goal—for a perfect 1.000 shots-on-goal percentage, while converting one for a goal. The performance capped off a determined effort in a tightly contested postseason match.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Diego Fuentes, Norwich - Fuentes played a key role in Norwich’s postseason push, notching an assist in the regular season finale against New England College and scoring a dramatic 88th-minute equalizer in the GNAC Quarterfinals versus Regis. The midfielder totaled one goal and one assist across two crucial matches to help keep the Cadets’ championship hopes alive.
Kirk Rodgers, Norwich - Rodgers anchored the Norwich defense with another stellar week in net, posting his fifth shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over New England College and allowing just one goal across 200 minutes of play. The sophomore finished the week with a 0.45 goals-against average and an .833 save percentage, helping the Cadets advance in the GNAC Tournament.
Michael Champagne, Regis - Champagne delivered a strong two-way performance for the Pride, totaling a goal and two assists across a pair of GNAC tournament matches. He notched a goal and an assist in the 3-1 win over Lasell, then set up the Pride’s early strike in a 1-1 draw with Norwich, while anchoring a backline that surrendered just two goals on the week.
