SWIMMER OF THE WEEK Will Thompson, Norwich (Jr.) Junior Will Thompson was a consistent performer for the Cadets against Bates on Saturday (Jan. 13). Thompson first swam the second leg of the 200-medley relay team, which gave the team a victory. The junior followed up by breaking the pool record in the 50-yard breaststroke with a time of 26.17 seconds. A few events later, he took second place with a 58.51 time in the 100-yard breaststroke. Thompson finished the day off swimming the third leg in the 200-freestyle relay, swimming the fastest leg on a 21.56 time to help lead the Cadets to victory. |

DIVER OF THE WEEK Aidan Grady, Norwich (Sr.) Senior Aidan Grady competed in the 1-meter diving competition against Bates and dominated for the Cadets. Grady tallied a score of 255.37 in the one-meter diving six option, which was 70 points over his closest competitor. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Kristian Adlianitski, Norwich (Fr.) First-year Kristian Adlianitski performed well for Norwich in several events this weekend. Adlianitski swam the second and final legs in both the 200-medley and 200-freestyle relays in which both of those teams took the victory in those respective events. The first year also finished fourth and fifth in the 100 and 200 yard freestyles for Norwich. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Samuel Madriz, Regis - Helped Regis to a dual meet victory over Albertus Magnus. He came close to his personal season-best marks twice with times of 59.10 seconds in the 100-yard butterfly and 27.01 seconds in the 50-yard butterfly. Madriz also posted a 50-fly split of 27.24 during the 200 medley relay.
Lucas Fendl, Saint Joseph’s (Maine) - Won the 200-yard fly (2:15.62) and 100-yard fly (58.94) events and was third in the 200-yard IM (2:27.67) at Husson University.
