Swimmer Of The Week
Drew Bylow, Norwich (So.)
Sophomore Drew Bylow powered the Cadets to a 124-93 win over Maine Maritime on Saturday, collecting two individual victories and contributing to a relay win. The sophomore won the 200-yard freestyle in 1:51.00 and added a first-place finish in the 50-yard butterfly (24.43). He also led off the Cadets' winning 400-yard medley relay squad, which opened the meet with a 3:46.96 finish. His versatility and strong mid-meet swims helped Norwich cap a perfect 3-0 homestand.
Diver Of The Week
Henry Pennell, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.)
Freshman Henry Pennell finished second in the one-meter diving event against Roger Williams and Bridgeport, recording a score of 152.30 points.
Rookie Of The Week
Gabe Wettig, Norwich (So.)
Sophomore Gabe Wettig turned in another strong all-around effort in Norwich's 124-93 win over Maine Maritime. The sophomore placed second in the 100-yard freestyle (52.21) and third in the 200-yard freestyle (1:58.27), while also anchoring the Cadets' winning 400-yard medley relay team (3:46.96). Wettig's consistent scoring presence helped Norwich remain unbeaten at home during the fall stretch.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Kristian Adlianitski, Norwich - Adlianitski dominated the sprint events in Norwich?s 124-93 victory over Maine Maritime, winning the 50-yard freestyle (22.23) and 100-yard freestyle (49.93). He also swam the breaststroke leg in Norwich's first-place 400-yard medley relay team, helping the Cadets jump out to an early lead. His consistent performances continue to anchor Norwich's sprint group.
Aryaman Nagaraj, Regis - Earned top finishes in both the 100 backstroke (1:03.94) and 200 breaststroke (2:16.20) at Saint Joseph's of Maine Friday night. He also was part of the 400 medley relay team that finished in 4:05.40.
Aiden Hebb, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Paced the Blue Jays during a double dual meet against Roger Williams and Bridgeport, finishing fifth in the 200 SC meter freestyle, posting a time of 2:05.45. Hebb also finished fifth in the 200 SC meter breaststroke, touching the wall in 2:36.61 and also swam the anchor leg of the 400 SC meter freestyle relay that posted a time of 4:06.72 and swam the second leg of the 400 SC meter medley relay which combined for a time of 4:25.05.
