2010 GNAC Men’s Tennis Playoff Schedule; Suffolk takes Top Seed
The 2010 GNAC Men’s Tennis Playoff pairings are now available. The reigning 2009 GNAC tournament and regular-season champions Suffolk University are seeded first.
GNAC Men’s Tennis Playoff Schedule Announced
The 2010 GNAC Men’s
Tennis Playoff pairings are now available. The reigning 2009 GNAC
tournament champion Suffolk University is seeded first.
The Rams earned a first place finish by going undefeated thus far
in 2010, with a 4-0 record in the conference and 8-0 overall.
Coming in second place is Emerson with a conference record of 3-1,
with their only loss to Suffolk. Johnson & Wales earned their
third place seeding with a 2-2 record. Norwich (1-3) finished out
the tournament bracket in fourth place by defeating Albertus
Magnus.
The GNAC men’s tennis tournament is a four-team tournament with the semifinals taking place on Thursday, April 22nd. #1 Suffolk will host #4 Norwich on Thursday at Winchester Lawn and Tennis Club at 3:00pm. #2 Emerson will host #3 Johnson & Wales at the Weymouth Club at 3:00pm. The Championship will take place on Saturday, April 24th at 1:00pm at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
