Ramapo's Feygin Repeats as GNAC Men's Tennis Player of the Year
For the second straight year, Ramapo College junior Willen Feygin has been voted the GNAC Men’s Tennis Player of the Year.

WINTHROP, Mass. – For the second straight year, Ramapo College junior Willen Feygin has been voted the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men’s Tennis Player of the Year, it was announced on Wednesday by the league office.
The Fair Lawn, N.J. native was named the 2017 GNAC Tournament MVP after leading the Roadrunners to yet another GNAC title and NCAA berth. He has gone 10-2 at No. 1 Singles this season, and he also has earned Second Team Doubles honors with senior teammate Jeremy Rosen. The pair has gone a perfect 6-0 together at No. 1 Doubles.
Norwich University freshman Dylan Ackerman has been selected as the 2017 GNAC Men’s Tennis Rookie of the Year. The Northern Mariana Islands native had an impressive rookie campaign, going 6-3 at No. 2 singles and 7-3 overall for the Cadets. He earned Second Team Singles recognition, while senior teammates Jay Carter and Ian Hyte both received First Team honors.
Johnson & Wales University head coach Devin Kitterick was voted the GNAC Coach of the Year after guiding the Wildcats to the GNAC Championship match against Ramapo. JWU also placed three on the First Team Singles in seniors Nicholas Auffret and Andre Barbero and junior Taylor Farmer. The tandem of Auffret and Barbero also garnered First Team Doubles recognition.
JWU placed three more on the Second Team in sophomore Tyler Dupee and juniors Jack Hopkins and Ryan Schiele. Also featured on the second team were Albertus Magnus College senior Daniel Constantinidi and Suffolk University freshman Kevin Greenman.
