Eastern Nazarene duo leads Lions to top of GNAC standings heading into conference tournament

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Diego Rodriguez, Eastern Nazarene (Sr. - Barquisimeto, Venezuela) - Rodriguez won in both singles and doubles twice to help the Lions complete an undefeated conference schedule and earn the top seed in the upcoming GNAC Tournament. He defeated both Colby-Sawyer and Albertus Magnus on consecutive days from the number one position in singles and doubles, winning both singles matches in straight sets.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Diego Torres (Fr. - Weston, Fla.) - In the number five singles position, Torres won both his singles matches in straight sets as the Lions defeated Colby-Sawyer and Albertus Magnus to clinch the top seed in the GNAC Tournament. He lost just two games against Colby-Sawyer before winning his match against Albertus Magnus without dropping a game. |
