Jacob Schmader, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)
Junior Jacob Schmader placed third in the 600 meters in 1:24.80 at the Elm City Classic. His time meets the New England Division III provisional qualifying standard.
Field Athlete Of The Week
Stephen Pierre, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman Stephen Pierre delivered a breakout performance by winning the long jump with a mark of 6.74m (22’ 1.5”), an automatic qualifier for the New England Division III Championships and new program record for Saint Joseph's College of Maine. He also cleared 1.83m (6’ 0”) in the high jump to finish third, posting two top-three finishes in the jumps. With these marks Stephen is ranked first in the conference in Long Jump and 4th in High Jump as of 12/7/25.
Rookie Of The Week
Eli Benjamin, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman Eli Benjamin scored in two events in his collegiate debut at the Elm City Classic. He placed second in the high jump with a clearance of 1.88m (6’ 2”), surpassing the New England Division III provisional standard, and added a sixth-place finish in the 60 meters in 7.64. Benjamin's effort in the High Jump ranks him first in the conference in this event as of 12/7/25.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Nathan Morgan, Emmanuel - Finished in First Place in Triple Jump at UMass Boston Season Opener: 12.43 meters and in 14th Place in Long Jump at Suffolk Relays: 6.01 meters.
Nathaniel Gonzalez, Lasell - Won the Men's High Jump at the Suffolk Relays with a jump of 1.85m, tying his personal best.
Caleb Ruch, Lasell - Finished sixth in 5k with School Record 16:05.99, also anchored Sprint Medley Relay Team to sixth place finish and School Record of 3:51.59.
Brady Elliott, Regis - Made an impressive debut in collegiate track, placing second in the men's high jump with a leap of 1.85 meters, establishing a new indoor program record. Elliott also competed in the long jump, finishing 12th with a distance of 6.06 meters.
Justin Thuotte, Regis - Earned three top-ten finishes. His best came in the shot put, where he took third with throw of 12.82 meters to set a new personal best. Thuotte also placed fifth in the long jump, setting a new indoor program record with a leap of 6.65 meters, and finished seventh in the weight throw with a mark of 13.28 meters.
