Track Athlete Of The Week
Haytham Ramadan, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)
Junior Haytham Ramadan earned Maine State Track Athlete MVP of the Meet honors after winning the 800m in 1:52.71. His performance secured 10 team points and marks just the second time in program history that a Saint Joseph’s athlete has received the award.
Field Athlete Of The Week
Matthew Corriveau, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Jr.)
Junior Matthew Corriveau delivered a standout performance at the Pine Tree Classic, placing second in the long jump with a DIII New England qualifying mark of 6.89m (22’ 7.25”). His jump earned eight team points and currently ranks first in the conference for the event.
Rookie Of The Week
Cameron Gonyer, Saint Joseph's (Maine) (Fr.)
Freshman Cameron Gonyer had a strong all-around performance at the Pine Tree Classic, placing sixth in the javelin (45.95m) and seventh in the discus (35.05m). He now ranks first in the GNAC in javelin and second in discus, continuing an impressive rookie season.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Nathan Morgan, Emmanuel- Morgan finished third in the Long Jump at 6.43 meters, which made him third in the conference leaderboards and was a NE Qualifying mark.
Cameren Candelaria, Lasell - Candelaria tied his season best time of 22.79 (third in GNAC; NE Auto Qualifier) to finish eighth at the Sean Collier Invite and also anchored the 4x1 to a fifth place finish with a time of 43.84 seconds.
Caleb Ruch, Lasell - Ruch finished eighth in the 5k at the Sean Collier Invite, running 16:12.16 to rank him second in the GNAC.
Brock Mcclain, Regis - Mcclain led the way in the throws for the Pride at the Sean Collier Invitational, recording a mark of 36.73 in the discus while also posting an 11.38 in the shot put, a personal best for the rookie, and the top mark of all first-years in the conference.
