GNAC Men's Volleyball Report: Week 3
Wentworth's Ryan Love nabbed his second straight GNAC Offensive Player of the Week award after averaging 4.50 kills per set on a .380 hitting percentage.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Ryan Love, Wentworth (Sr., OH/RS - Gaithersburg, Md.) In two matches played for WIT, Love averaged 4.50 kills per set for 27 total. He smashed 16 kills in the Leopards' big sweep over MIT, their first three-set win over the Engineers in program history, and later notched 11 kills in Wentworth's win over Nichols. He also hit .380 for the week, including .444 hitting in the win against MIT with 16 kills and four errors on 27 swings. |

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Peter Klembczyk, Wentworth (Jr., L - Penfield, N.Y.) Averaged 2.33 digs per set in two matches played for Wentworth, which were both sweeps for the Black & Gold. He collected 14 digs overall, including nine versus MIT. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Jesus Garcia, Lasell (Fr., S - Honolulu, Hawaii) Garcia recorded 129 assists in four matches for the Lasers. He averaged 8.60 assists/set while also earning 36 digs. He averaged 2.40 digs/set over the four-match span. Garcia also added 9 kills on a .250 hitting percentage in the Lasers 1-3 week. In the win over Eastern Nazarene, Garcia collected 47 assists on the night to go along with 15 digs. |
WEEK 3 HONOR ROLL
Samuel Willinger, Emerson (Junior, MB/RS - Golden Beach, Fla.) - As the leading attacker for Emerson, Samuel Willinger helped the Lions to a 1-1 record on the week. Against Dean, Willinger totaled nine kills in the three set sweep, averaging 3 per set. He added four digs, one service ace, one block, and one assist. Against MIT on Friday, Willinger had 10 kills in three sets, averaging 3.33 per set while adding a service ace, block, and five digs.
Mike Kokoros, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Jr, OH - Braintree, Mass.) - Kokoros paced Emmanuel averaging 3.21 kills per set over four matches, tabulating 45 total kills while swinging at a .252 clip. The junior enjoyed a 15-kill outing vs. Nichols and closed out the week with a career-high 18 kills vs. Ramapo. He added 25 digs on the week (1.79 digs per set) while also registered six blocks, one assist and one ace.
Jack Pincince, Johnson & Wales (RI) (So., OH - South Kingstown, R.I.) - Averaged 3.70 kills, 1.60 digs with a .247 hitting percentage ... Notched a career-high 23 kills and a .475 hitting percentage against #14 Endicott. Also had 7 digs and three blocks against the Gulls ... Produced 10 kills and two blocks versus MIT.
Cobi Moore, Lasell (Jr., L - Danville, N.H.) - Moore controlled the Lasers defense in the four-match span by recording 51 digs on the week. He averaged 3.40 digs/set throughout these matches. Moore totaled 17 digs in the Lasers win over Eastern Nazarene and 19 digs in the 3-1 loss to SUNY Poly.
