FOR THE OPENING WEEK OF JAN. 31 - FEB. 6

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jacob LaBouliere, Wentworth (So., OH - Pipersville, Pa.) - LaBouliere averaged 4.10 kills per set while hitting a stellar .438 in a 3-0 week for the No. 7 nationally-ranked Leopards. After totaling 11 kills, four aces, six digs, and three blocks in a four-set win over Eastern Nazerene, he hit .750 with 13 kills (6.50 per set) in a GNAC sweep against Emmanuel. He rounded out the week by hitting .467 with 17 kills (4.25 per set) in a 3-1 victory over Benedictine (IL), which is receiving votes in the latest AVCA national poll. 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

David Marsh, Wentworth (Gr., MH - Springfield, Mass.) - Marsh averaged an impressive 1.36 blocks per set in a 3-0 week, totaling seven in a 3-1 win over Eastern Nazarene and registering seven again in a 3-1 victory over Benedictine (IL). 

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Joseph Perez, Regis (Mass.) (So., OH - Miami, Fla.) - Perez led the Pride to a 2-1 week, averaging 2.88 kills and 1.50 digs per set. In Regis' victory over Dean on Saturday, he notched a .615 hitting percentage as he finished with 10 kills and a season-high eight digs. Perez followed that with seven kills in two sets during the Pride's victory over NVU Johnson, hitting .308 during that match. 

HONOR ROLL 

Neiko Pittman, Emerson (Sophomore, MB) - Pittman averaged 3.67 kills, 1.50 digs and 1.08 blocks per set in a three-game week.
 
Jyles Amirault, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr, OH - Andover, Mass.) - The first-year Amirault finished the week by averaging 2.17 kills, 0.33 aces and 1.67 digs per set following a pair of setbacks for the Saints last week. 
 
Jesus Garcia, Lasell (Jr., S - Honolulu, Hawaii) - Garcia averaged 7.67 assists, 0.67 aces and 1.67 digs per set in Thursday's sweep against Nichols.
 
Dexter Thomas, Lasell (Fr., MB/OH - Plano, Texas) - Thomas averaged 2.33 kills and 1.00 blocks per set while hitting .778 in the 3-0 blanking of Nichols.
