No. 9 Wentworth Clinches Top Seed, Seeking to Claim Four-Peat In Upcoming 2025 MVB Postseason Tournament
WINTHROP, Mass. -Top-seeded Lasell University headlines the Great Northeast Athlete (18-6 overall). The Lasers, who have been nationally ranked for most of the season, including a win over Wentworth, will look to capture their first GNAC title in program history.
At No. 2, Wentworth Institute of Technology put together another dominant season, going 6-1 in GNAC play (17-8d overall). The Leopards, a mainstay in the AVCA national rankings, will aim to defend their conference crown and secure another championship run.
Earning the No. 3 seed is Rivier University after a strong conference showing, followed by No. 4 Emmanuel College and No. 5 Elms College, who both had competitive campaigns in GNAC play. Rounding out the field is No. 6 Regis College.
Lasell and Wentworth each earn a first-round bye and will await the winners of the quarterfinal matchups.
Quarterfinal action is set for Tuesday, April 8, with No. 3 Rivier hosting No. 6 Regis, while No. 4 Emmanuel will take on No. 5 Elms.
The semifinal round will take place on Thursday, April 10, as the Rivier/Regis winner will travel to Lasell, and the Emmanuel/Elms winner will head to Wentworth.
The GNAC Championship match is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, where the semifinal winners will भिड for the conference title and the league’s automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men’s Volleyball Championship.
