OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Chase Fagen, Emerson (Jr., OH) Junior Outside Hitter Chase Fagen led the charge offensively in an undefeated week for the Lions as the Rye, N.Y. native totaled 42 kills across three matches on .436%, averaging 3.82 kills per set while also posting 15 total digs (1.36 d/s). Fagen started his week with six kills and four digs in a sweep over Fisher. The junior would follow suit in a tri-match on Saturday at home, collecting 21 kills and five digs in a five-set conference victory over Regis before ending the week strong with 15 kills and six digs in a sweep over Curry that same day. |

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK Semaj Byrd, Emerson (Jr., LB) Junior Libero Semaj Byrd steadied Emerson’s defense this past week as the Rockledge, FL. native totaled 20 digs across three matches, averaging 1.82 digs per set for the Lions in their 3-0 week. Byrd started the week with four digs in a sweep over Fisher before totaling 12 in a five-set thrilling conference victory over Regis and ending his week with four once again in a sweep over Curry. |

SETTER OF THE WEEK Bryson Beck, Emerson (Sr., S) Senior Setter Bryson Beck was the offensive facilitator for the Lions on the attack as the Fresno, Calif. native totaled 99 assists in three match victories for Emerson, averaging nine assists per set. Beck started the week off against Fisher College with 24 assists in the Lions’ sweep before putting up 42 assists, eight digs, and five total blocks in a conference victory over Regis. In the final match against Curry, he had 33 assists with eight digs. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Cash Muse, Emerson (Fr., MB) First-year Middle Blocker Cash Muse was a consistent piece for the Lions both offensively and defensively as the Montauk, N.Y. native collected 21 total kills (1.91 kills per set) on an efficient .457% while also totaling nine blocks (0.82 b/s). Muse produced eight kills and two blocks to start the week in Emerson's sweep over Fisher before earning 13 kills and seven total blocks across two matches against Regis and Curry. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Mason Rua, Dean - Produced 22 digs with 14 of them in a three set match against Sage.
Jasper Schultz, Lasell - Produced 13 kills and seven digs in three set match against Wentworth.
Trystan Maloney, Lasell - Had 31 assists and five digs against Wentworth.
Jalen Watt, Regis - Contributed 15 kills and seven digs against Emerson in five sets, however kept the momentum against Curry in three sets, collecting 11 kills, and one dig.
Tyrell Bucasas, Regis - Led the Pride with 41 assists and seven digs versus Emerson before contributing 29 assists and five digs in a sweep over Curry.
