MVB: Eight Named To AVCA All-Region I Team; Schultz, Dubcak, and Bell Named All-Americans
Winthrop, Mass. - Eight Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Men's Volleyball student-athletes were named to the AVCA Men's Volleyball 2026 All-Region Region I Team as announced by the organization last Monday afternoon (Apr. 13). Lasell and Wentworth each placed four of their own on the All-Region teams. Lasell had Rookie of the Year Branch Barnes, who was also named Region I Newcomer of the Year, followed by Paten Buckwalter, Ryan Mesnik, and Jaseper Schultz. Meanwhile, Wentworth placed Nicolai Bell, Alem Dubcak, Conner Foxwell, and Brayden Green. Yesterday, three of the eight student-athletes were named All-Americans. Wentworth's Dubcak (Second Team) and Bell (Honorable Mention) were the Leopards representatives while Schultz (Second Team) was the lone representative for the Lasers.
