Offensive Player Of The Week
Jasper Schultz, Lasell (Sr.)
Senior Jasper Schultz led the offense through a four-match week (2-2) for the #19 ranked Lasers, totaling 49 kills (4.08/set) while contributing in all phases with 20 digs, three blocks, and a .912 reception percentage. He logged double-digit kills in two matches and reached at least six kills in all four contests. He posted 18 kills and nine digs against #6 Stevens, followed by 16 kills in a upset sweep of #4 Messiah. Earlier in the week, he added nine kills at #1 Springfield and six more in a win at Baruch.
Defensive Player Of The Week
Mekhi Burns, Wentworth (Jr.)
Junior Mekhi Burns anchored the back row for the #12 ranked Leopards across two five-set thrilling victories this past weekend in their tri-match, averaging 2.70 digs per set (27 total) across a flawless 1.000 reception percentage. Burns had 13 in their first win over Endicott before collecting 14 against #12 ranked SUNY New Paltz.
Setter Of The Week
Hunter Ladouceur, Elms (So.)
Sophomore Hunter Ladouceur directed a balanced attack in a perfect 3–0 week, averaging 10.00 assists per set while totaling 90 assists across nine sets. He contributed in all phases with five kills on .278 hitting, 17 digs, three aces, and five total blocks, finishing the week with 11.0 points. He posted 29 assists and seven digs vs. Curry, followed with 32 assists and seven digs against Sarah Lawrence, then capped the week with 29 assists, three kills, and four blocks in a sweep of Dean College.
Rookie Of The Week
Ryan Chen, Emerson (Fr.)
Freshman Ryan Chen averaged 8.73 assists per set across three matches while adding 0.64 service aces and 1.45 digs per set, finishing the week with four block assists and 11.0 points for the Lions. He totaled 96 assists, seven aces, and 16 digs over 11 sets. He opened the week with a match-high 21 assists at Wheaton, adding two digs, an ace, and a block assist. In Saturday’s doubleheader against Vermont State Johnson, Chen posted 33 assists and three aces in a 3–0 win, then followed with a season-best 42 assists and a season-high 14 digs in a five-set match, recording his first career double-double while adding three aces and three block assists.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Rafa Artero, Elms - Artero helped lead a perfect 3–0 week, totaling eight kills on .318 hitting while averaging 1.78 blocks per set across three straight-set wins. He added nine digs and finished with 16 total blocks, highlighted by back-to-back six-block performances against Curry and Sarah Lawrence.
Chris Bosquet, Elms - Bosquet collected 43 digs across nine sets for a 4.78 digs per set average in a 3-0 week, including 17 in a sweep over Sarah Lawrence and 16 over Dean.
Trey Guest, Emmanuel - Guest powered a 3–0 sweep at Wheaton with 20 kills on .351 hitting, adding six digs and four blocks for 22.0 points (7.3 per set).
Riley Goldman, Emerson - Goldman led the Lions’ attack with 3.09 kills per set and a team-high 36.5 points over three matches. He highlighted Saturday’s doubleheader with back-to-back career performances, posting 12 kills on .500 hitting in the opener before following with a career-high 13 kills in the nightcap, finishing the day with a team-best 26.5 points.
Ryan Mesnik, Lasell - Mesnik anchored the back row across four matches, totaling 27 digs (2.08/set) while posting a strong .947 reception rate on 95 serve-receive attempts. He committed just five reception errors on the week and added five assists. His top defensive performance came against Stevens, where he recorded 15 digs in four sets. He also added five digs vs. Messiah, four at Baruch, and three at Springfield.
Alem Dubcak, Wentworth - Dubcak had 25 kills on a .278% attack percentage with 12 digs and four blocks, highlighted by a 14 kill performance over New Paltz.
Brayden Green, Wentworth - Green totaled 60 assists across 10 sets with 12 digs on the week for the Leopards.
