Offensive Player Of The Week
Alem Dubcak, Wentworth (Jr.)
Junior Alem Dubcak collected a career-high 23 kills on an extremely efficient .543% and had eight digs in the #11 ranked Wentworth victory over previously undefeated and #16 MIT.
Defensive Player Of The Week
Nick Sciabica, Emmanuel (Sr.)
Senior Nick Sciabica anchored the back row in a four-set victory over Curry for the Saints, totaling 16 digs (4.00 per set) on a flawless reception percentage.
Setter Of The Week
Brayden Green, Wentworth (Sr.)
Senior Brayden Green set a career-high in assists for the #11 ranked Leopards as he dished out 52 in a five-set thriller over #16 MIT.
Rookie Of The Week
Kenji Clark, Rivier (Fr.)
Freshman Kenji Clark recorded 21 kills (2.33 k/s), a .286 hitting percentage, and five total blocks in the 1-1 week. Clark recorded nine kills (2.25 k/s), a .263 hitting percentage, and three block assists against No. 14 New Paltz before he added 12 kills (2.40 k/s), a .304 hitting percentage and two block assists in the reverse sweep over Sage.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brandon Mimande, Dean - Mimande posted 11 kills on 34 attempts en route to Dean's first win in program history over Emerson College, 3-2.
Ryan Chen, Emerson - Chen distributed 33 assists that helped set up three double-digit kill performers at Dean on Thursday, adding 13 digs for his second-straight double-double and two blocks. He dished out 23 assists against Curry on Saturday with two aces and three digs.
Trey Guest, Emmanuel - Guest recorded 26 kills on a .230% attack percentage with 11 digs (2.75 per set) in a 3-1 victory over Curry.
Ryan Mesnik, Lasell - Mesnik collected 2 digs per set across two sweeps against Endicott and Manhattanville to total 12 on the week.
Adam Bonica, Regis - Bonica totaled 30 kills across three matches, averaging 3.00 kills per set while hitting .339. He also added 15 digs (1.50 per set) and 36.0 points on the week. He opened the stretch with 11 kills on .391 hitting and seven digs against Wheaton, then followed with eight kills in a straight-set win over Hartwick. Bonica closed the week with another 11-kill performance at SUNY Poly, swinging at a .474 clip and adding nine service aces, rounding out a strong all-around offensive showing.
Evan Shank, Regis - Shank totaled 93 assists across three matches this week, averaging 9.30 assists per set. He opened the week with a week-best 38 assists to go along with five digs, then added 27 assists in a win over Hartwick. Shank closed the week by dishing out 28 assists against SUNY Poly, recording six digs in each of the final two matches.
Justin Barish, Rivier - Barish finished with 69 assists and 12 digs in the 1-1 weekend for the Raiders. Recorded 32 assists (8.00 a/s) against No. 14 New Paltz. Added 37 assists (7.40 a/s) in the reverse sweep over Sage.
Tyler Dickinson, Rivier - Dickinson posted a strong weekend with 19 kills (2.11/set) on a .667 hitting percentage and 10 total blocks. He recorded seven kills and six blocks against No. 14 New Paltz, then added 12 kills while hitting .800 with four block assists in the reverse sweep over Sage.
