Anna Maria's Eden Forget had a 1.400 OPS and 2.80 ERA in the AMCATS' doubleheader sweep of Mass. Maritime on Saturday.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Eden Forget, Anna Maria (So., SS/P - Worcester, Mass.) - Forget had a Saturday afternoon to remember, going 6-for-10 with five runs, a triple, seven RBI and a stolen base in a road doubleheader sweep against Mass. Maritime. After a four-hit, six-RBI performance at the plate in a 16-9 Game 1 rout, she allowed just two runs on seven hits with four strikeouts (one walk) in a five-inning complete game in Game 2, as the AMCATS prevailed, 13-2. She also went 2-for-4 with three runs scored in the win. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Maddie Castigliego, Simmons (Senior, P - Bristol, R.I.) - The right-hander Castigliego posted a 1.71 ERA and registered a 4-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio in 28.2 innings pitched, fanning 17 opposing batters in four games (three starts) last week. She also allowed just three earned while striking out six in 13.2 innings of both games doubleheader at Gordon on Friday, in which the Sharks went 1-0-1. Against a tough Brandeis team on Saturday, the Bristol, R.I. native started both games (15 IP, 4 ER, 11 K) of a doubleheader, with Simmons narrowly falling 3-1 and 3-2. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Caroline Amorelli, Johnson and Wales (RI) (Fy., OF - Winslow, N.J.) - Helping the Wildcats to a 3-1 week, Amorelli posted a 1.370 OPS as she was 6-for-11 with six runs, two doubles, five RBI and two steals. In a victory over UMass Dartmouth, she had two hits, two runs, and two RBI. In her first game against Mitchell, she had three hits, three runs, and two RBI with two doubles before adding one more hit and a run in the second game against Mitchell. |
GNAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Brianna Gendreau, Lasell (Senior, Utility - Warren, R.I.) - Gendreau slashed .421/.476/.421 with four runs, five RBI and five stolen bases in six games last week.
Natalie Amato, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., P - Cheshire, Conn.) - Amato went 1-1 with a 1.47 ERA, striking out 17 (two walks) across 14.1 innings for the Blue Jays last week.
Frankie Ferrante, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Sr., INF - Southington, Conn.) - The senior slashed .353/.476/.412 in a 4-2 week with three runs scored.
Jordyn Rubin, Simmons (Sophomore, OF - Lewiston, Maine) - Rubin hit .429 (6-14) with a double, home run and three RBI, while registering a 1.143 OPS (.429 OBP, .714 SLG%) against Gordon and Brandeis last week. Rubin slugged her first collegiate career homer in a 9-2 Game 1 win over Gordon on Friday afternoon, where she went 4-for-4 with a double, home run and three RBI. Additionally, she was solid in the field registering seven putouts and one assist throughout the week.
