GNAC Softball Report: Week 4
Emmanuel's Olivia Conti posted a rididculous 1.776 OPS for the Saints last week, compiling, six runs, four doubles, two home runs, and five RBI across six games.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK Olivia Conti, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Jr, SS - Cranston, R.I.) - Conti posted a slash line of .563/.588/1.188 for a 1.776 OPS across six games for EC last week, going 9-for-16 (.563) with six runs, four doubles, two homers and five RBI. She had a three-hit Game 2 with a double, home run and three RBI in a 7-6 win over Emerson as part of a Tuesday sweep, before going 2-for-3 with two runs scored in a 4-3 win at UMass Boston in Game Two of a doubleheader on Friday. She closed out the week by going 3-for-5 with a two doulbes and a home run in a Sunday doubleheader at Wentworth.

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Alyssa Roberts, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., P - Naugatuck, Conn.) - Roberts went a perfect 2-0 for the Blue Jays inside the circle in 4-0 week, posting a 0.50 ERA with 12 strikeouts (six walks) in 14.0 innings. She went the distance against Salem State, pitching a complete-game shutout, allowing only five hits while striking out seven in a 7-0 victory. The right-hander followed up her performance with another complete game against Bay Path, allowing one run on five hits with five strikeouts to pick up the victory in a 6-1 USJ win.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Kaitlyn Ouellette, St. Joseph (Conn.) (Fr., P/OF - Wolcott, Conn.) - The rookie excelled both at the plate and inside the circle for USJ, helping lead the Blue Jays to a perfect 4-0 week. Pitching, she posted a complete-game win against Salem State, allowing three runs (two earned, 2.80 ERA) on six hits, while tallying eight strikeouts to just one walk. At the plate in that game, she paced the team with a 3-for-4 outing, notching a triple, a RBI and two runs scored in a 12-3 victory. Across the four games she slashed .417/.500/.667, recording five hits, one double, one triple, and three RBI against the Vikings and Bay Path.

Ava Gladwin, Albertus Magnus (Sr., IF - Guilford, Conn.) - Gladwin recorded a stellar week as the senior infielder hit .421 with a .450 OBP and a . 421 slugging percentage as the Falcons went 3-3 in non-conference play. Gladwin went 8-for-19 with two RBIs, one walk, and four runs scored. She had two multi-hit games in Albertus' sweep over MCLA and split with Curry. She also tallied a season-high two RBIs in the 13-5 game two victory over MCLA>
