PLAYER OF THE WEEK Jill Pulek, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Gr., IF - Cheshire, Conn.) - Continued her torrid hitting this past week, belting three home runs and driving in nine as the Wildcats won five of their six outings. She recorded three multi-hit efforts, highlighted by a two home run performance at USJ on Wednesday. Pulek - who batted .476 on the week (10-of-21) - owns a .472 average with five home runs and 24 RBI in 2023. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Eryn Sheeley, Lasell (Jr., P/1B - North Haven, Conn.) - Picked up three victories in as many appearances for the Laser this week. Made a relief appearance against Rivier allowing no hits and just three walks over four innings of work. Struck out seven Raiders in the victory. Tossed back-to-back complete games, starting with a seven-inning, three-hit shutout against Dean with 11 strikeouts. Followed that up with a five-hitter against Saint Joseph's (Maine) with seven strikeouts. Only allowed three unearned runs over 18 innings and struck out 25. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Mady Lyons, Johnson & Wales (RI) (Fr., C/DP - Prior Lake, Minn.) - Belted a pair of three-run home runs in the fourth inning of a win against Albertus Magnus last week, and finished the week batting .526 with three home runs and 15 RBI. Had three multi-hit efforts and closed her week by going 4-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI in a win over Dean. The two-time GNAC ROW owns a .414 average with five home runs and a team-leading 33 RBI.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Mackenzie Briggs, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Fr., P - West Warwick, R.I.) - Tossed just the second perfect game in Emmanuel history on Friday to lead Emmanuel in a GNAC North Divisional win over Norwich. Faced the minimum 15 batters, retiring them all with nine strikeouts and no walks to cement the milestone. Posted a 2-0 record with 12 K?s and a 1.52 ERA in wins over Framingham State and NU. Helped her own cause at the plate in the Norwich win, going 2-for-4 with an RBI double and scored two runs to bat .500 on the week.
Taylor Chelak, Emmanuel (Mass.) (So., OF - Westborough, Mass.) - Posted a .500 batting average (7-for-14) over four games for the Saints. Four of her seven hits on the week were for extra bases, all doubles to post a .786 slugging percentage and the sophomore also scored seven runs while driving in a pair.
Ciara Collins, Regis (Mass.) (Sr., OF - Lynn, Mass.) - Went 7-for-11 with two doubles, a triple, seven runs scored, and seven RBI. Drove in the go-ahead runs with a pinch-hit double in the fifth inning in the first game Tuesday against ENC as Regis went on to win, 8-3. After going 2-for-3 with three runs scored in the first game at Anna Maria Thursday, she opened the scoring in the second game with a two-run triple in the first inning. With the game tied at 5-5 in the sixth inning, she drove in a run with a double and eventually scored.
Brianna Gendreau, Lasell (Gr., SS/C - Warren, R.I.) - Collected nine hits over six games, good for a .409 batting average on the week.
Annabelle Jabs, Albertus Magnus (Fr., P - East Hartland, Conn.) - On Saturday's 1-0 victory over USJ (CT), Jabs earned her second collegiate win of the season as the hurler threw a dominant, complete-game shutout, scattering six hits and a walk while striking out a season-high seven batters.
Piper Kinney, Simmons (Fy., P - Marlborough, Mass.) - Posted a 2-0 week with a 1.17 ERA and 16 strikeouts to lead the Sharks to a 4-0 week, which included opening GNAC North Division play with a 2-0 mark following a sweep of Rivier University on the road, Saturday. Came one strikeout shy of tying her career single-game best, retiring nine Raiders on strikes, while allowing just two runs on two hits over a complete game seven innings. Tossed a complete game shutout, in an 8-0 victory over, non-divisional opponent Dean College, where she fanned seven Bulldogs.
