PLAYER/PITCHER OF THE WEEK Alyssa Roberts, St. Joseph (Conn.) (So., P/1B - Naugatuck, Conn.) - Slashed a sensational .714/.750/.786 during a 4-0 week for USJ, tallying 10 hits, two runs, one double, four RBI and two walks. Began the week with a 2-for-4 outing and two RBI in a 5-1 week at Mass. Maritime. Rounded out the doubleheader with a 2-for-3 day at the plate, scoring a run in a 4-1 in game two against the Buccaneers. Helped the Blue Jays secure a spot in the upcoming GNAC playoffs after going 3-of-4 at the plate against Regis in a 5-3 victory in game one of a doubleheader. Rounded out the regular season with a perfect 3-for-3 outing in a 5-1 victory in game two of the doubleheader at Regis, scoring a run while tallying an RBI. Went 2-0 across her two starts inside the circle for USJ, posting a 1.00 ERA with 19 strikeouts. Got the start in game two of a doubleheader at Mass. Maritime, earning the complete game win after tossing 10 k's, allowing only one run off six hits in during a 4-1 victory. Rounded out the week with another complete game victory, allowing one run off three hits while tossing nine strikeouts in a 5-1 win against Regis. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Anna Leone, Albertus Magnus (Fr., C/SS - Shelton, Conn.) - Led the Falcons last week with eight hits behind a team-high four doubles and a triple. The freshman catcher finished the four games with a .571/.600/1.000 slash line for a 1.60 OPS with two runs scored and five RBI. Tallied four multi-hit games, including a RBI double to the right-center gap to lift the Falcons past Regis (Mass.), 3-2, for the game two victory.

WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Tianna Dawe, Emmanuel (Mass.) (Sr., P - Lynn, Mass.) - Posted a 0.78 ERA over a whooping 27 innings of work for Emmanuel, recording a 3-0 record in GNAC play to help Emmanuel clinch a playoff berth. Tossed three complete games and over five outings, never allowed more than one earned run, highlighted by a complete-game shutout win vs. Dean. Picked up 24 strikeouts on the week including a nine-K outing vs. Anna Maria in another complete-game victory.
Katie Hopkins, Lasell (Jr., 3B - Garden City Park, N.Y.) - Had three straight multi-hit games for the Lasers, producing a .667/.667/.889 slash line. Also recorded an RBI in each of the three contests for Lasell this week. In total, collected six hits and three RBI on the wek against Framingham State and Wentworth.
Olivia Howe, Saint Joseph's (Me.) (Sr., IF - Arundel, Maine) - Hit .615 (8-for-13) with three runs, a double, two homers, and six RBI in a 3-1 week for the Monks. Posted a .643 OBP with a 1.154 SLG% in the four games and went 4-6 with three runs, two home runs, and five RBI in a doubleheader sweep at Norwich University on Wednesday.
Shannon McMahon, Simmons (Sr., C - El Cajon, Calif.) - Helped the Sharks claim the top seed in the GNAC North Division splitting Saturday afternoon's doubleheader against Saint Joseph's College of Maine. Against the Monks, batted .667 (4-6) with a double, four RBI and a staggering 1.458 OPS (.833 SLG%, .625 OBP) from the middle of the Shark lineup.
