PLAYER OF THE WEEK Hayley Rapgalia, Rivier (Jr., INF/P) Junior Hayley Rapgalia slashed .467/.526/.800 in a 3-1 (2-0 GNAC North) week for the Raiders as the Methuen, Mass. native collected 12 total bases as a result of seven hits with two doubles, three walks, and a three-run home run. The homer came in game two of a GNAC North sweep over SJC, the first sweep over the Monks in the Raiders' program history. |

PITCHER OF THE WEEK Amanda Magro, New England College (Fr., P) First-year Amanda Magro dominated on the mound for the Grims' this past week as the Phoenix, Ariz. native pitched 12 shutout innings to go 2-0 for NEC, collecting nine strikeouts and allowing only four hits. |

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Mikaela Schwippert, Albertus Magnus (Fr., 1B) First-year Mikaela Schwippert went 10-for-19 (.526/.571/.789) for the Falcons as the Whippany, N.J. native drove in eight home in the process with seven of them coming in a GNAC doubleheader sweep over Elms, including a three-run homer in game two. |
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Skylar Arent, Albertus Magnus - Pitched ten innings in GNAC play, allowing just four hits. Complete game shutout of Lasell, striking out seven against the Lasers, as she went 2-1 on the mound for the week.
Annabelle Jabs, Albertus Magnus - Allowed just three hits and no runs in two GNAC starts. Struck out eight against Lasell as she went 2-1 on the mound this week.
Taylor Chelkak, Emmanuel - Went 11-for-23 across six games with five RBI, which her week was with a 3-for-4 performance in non-conference action in game two vs. Roger Williams.
Mackenzie Clee, Johnson & Wales - Clee batted .438 with two triples and five RBI for the Wildcats. She reached base in eight of her 16 at-bats, hitting safely in all four games - including a pair of multi-hit efforts. Clee's best game of the week was a 3-for-5 effort against the Mariners with two triples and two RBI.
Abigail Fortin, Lasell - Fanned 15 batters for the Lasers with nine of them coming in a victory over Elms as she boasted an 1.56 earned run average on the week. Batted .500 at the plate for the Lasers as well (4-for-8).
Madison Cole, Mitchell - Had a strong week, slashing .500/.611/.786 across six games for the Mitchell softball team. Cole was 7-for-14 with four doubles, four RBI, and four runs scored, adding four walks without striking out once. She recorded multiple hits in three games, highlighted by a 2-for-3 performance with two doubles, three RBI, and two runs scored in a Sunday victory over Lasell.
Madison DeCota, Norwich - Drove the Cadet offense in their split with Emmanuel on Sunday, highlighted by a 3-for-4 effort in the second game with two runs scored and three RBI. In the two games combined, she slashed .500/.500/.875 with four RBI, three extra base hits and seven total bases.
Bianca Burke, Regis - Had a strong showing at the plate, going 4-for-6 (.667) across a conference doubleheader against Simmons as she recorded a pair of multi-hit games, highlighted by a historic moment in game two when her first hit of the game made her the program's all-time hits leader.
Piper Kinney, Simmons - Collected 22 strikeouts on the mound for the Sharks, including 12 in a win over Regis. Had five K's a piece vs. Emmanuel and JWU.
Alyssa Roberts, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Was stellar inside the circle for USJ during the week, posting a perfect 2-0 record while recording a 0.50 ERA, allowing only one run while tossing two complete games and striking out nine total batters. Started the week with a complete game shutout victory over Mitchell, striking out two Mariners. Concluded the week with another complete game victory, leading the Blue Jays past Elms after allowing only one run and striking out seven Blazers. Batted 7-for-11 at the plate with four RBI's as well.
