PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Courtney Thomas, Norwich (Jr.)
Junior Courtney Thomas had a huge week at the plate, batting .481 (13-for-27) with 12 runs, 14 RBI, six doubles, a triple, and a home run across eight games. She highlighted the week with a historic 6-for-8 performance against VTSU Lyndon, totaling nine RBI's and six runs, and added multiple multi-hit games throughout. She was also flawless defensively, recording no errors in 23 chances.
PITCHER OF THE WEEK
Annabelle Jabs, Albertus Magnus (Sr.)
Senior Annabelle Jabs delivered a dominant performance in the circle, striking out a career-high 14 batters in an 8-inning complete game win over Mitchell, allowing just one unearned run on four hits.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Ellie Laroche, Norwich (Fr.)
Freshman Ellie Laroche had an outstanding week, batting .600 (15-for-25) with 13 runs, six RBI, and four doubles across eight games. She recorded multi-hit performances in six games, highlighted by a 4-for-5 outing with two doubles and four runs scored against VTSU Lyndon. She was also flawless defensively, handling all 33 chances without an error.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Reilly Austin, Albertus Magnus - Austin had .500/.625/.667 splits with six hits and walked four times on the week. Austin had two doubles during the week with two RBI and two runs scored.
Kaylee Scott, Colby-Sawyer - Scott had another strong week at the plate for the Chargers that ended with a batting average of .412. Kaylee tallied 5 total doubles, on 7 hits, and drove in four runs. She finished the week leading the Chargers to two wins over Elms where she recorded 3 hits, all being doubles. She would add an OBP of .444 and a slugging of .706.
Natalie Hayes, Dean - Hayes had a 3-0 record in all three appearances this week, including 16.0 IP, 17 strikeouts, just three earned runs, and 6 total walks (1.31 ERA on week). -She pitched complete games in all two of three appearances well.
Mia Fernandes, Emmanuel - Fernandes powered Emmanuel’s offense with a .643 batting average and .857 slugging percentage, delivering consistent extra-base impact and clutch production in key GNAC wins over Lasell and Norwich.
Olivia DeCicco, Mitchell - DeCicco delivered an outstanding all-around performance for Mitchell, excelling both at the plate and in the circle during a six-game stretch. Offensively, DeCicco batted .556 (10-for-18) with three doubles, one home run, seven RBI, and three runs scored while posting an impressive .636 on-base percentage and .889 slugging percentage. She did not strike out in 22 plate appearances, consistently putting the ball in play and driving production in the middle of the lineup. In conference action, she elevated her performance even further, hitting .583 with a 1.000 slugging percentage and six RBI while reaching base at a .667 clip. In the circle, she made four appearances, including four starts, and logged 22.2 innings with three complete games. In GNAC play, she posted a 1.79 ERA over 15.2 innings, allowing just four earned runs while striking out nine. In a weekend game against New England College, DeCicco also recorded the 100th strikeout of her Mitchell career.
Emma Lopez, New England College - Lopez delivered another week of dominant offensive performance, leading the team with seven runs scored while recording eight hits and six RBIs. She posted an outstanding .500 batting average with 16 at-bats and having zero strikeouts. The senior held a .609 on-base percentage, setting the tone for the offense. Lopez tallied two home runs against Anna Maria College and three doubles en route to a 1.063 slugging percentage and 17 total bases over the past week.
Madison DeCota, Norwich - DeCota carried the heaviest workload in the circle for Norwich during an eight-game week, making five appearances and four starts while totaling 23.0 innings, 21 strikeouts, two complete games, and one shutout. She opened the week by throwing a five-inning shutout in a 9-0 win over Vermont State University Johnson, allowing just two hits while striking out four, and also earned the win in Norwich’s 45-11 victory over Vermont State University Lyndon. DeCota finished the week 2-2 in the circle while also contributing significantly at the plate, batting .500 (15-for-30) with seven RBIs, 10 runs scored, three doubles, and three triples.
Emily Munson, Norwich - Munson put together a consistently strong week for Norwich across eight games, batting .520 (13-for-25) with 10 RBIs, nine runs scored, and three doubles. She recorded four multi-hit performances, highlighted by a 3-for-4 outing with two RBIs and two runs scored in a 13-3 win over Vermont State University Johnson and a 4-for-6 performance with three RBIs and five runs scored in Norwich’s record-setting 45-11 victory over Vermont State University Lyndon. Munson also stayed productive in conference play, collecting four hits and two RBIs over doubleheaders against Emmanuel and Regis. In the field, she was flawless all week, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage over 21 total chances.
Kate Julian, Regis - Julian went 2-0 with two complete-game wins and a dominant relief appearance across three outings. Over 16.0 total innings, Julian allowed just 7 runs (5 earned) on 17 hits while striking out 14 batters and issuing only 5 walks, finishing the week with a 2.19 ERA and 1.38 WHIP. She opened the stretch with a complete-game win against Saint Joseph (Conn.), tossing 7.0 innings with 6 strikeouts in a 10-5 victory. She followed that with a relief appearance against Mass. Maritime, where she was nearly untouchable—allowing no hits or runs across 2.0 innings while striking out 2 in a 9-4 win. Julian capped the week with another complete-game effort against Norwich, allowing just 2 earned runs over 7.0 innings while striking out 6 in a 10-2 win, helping lead the Pride to a dominant sweep in conference play.
Avery Simpson, Regis - Simpson turned in an impressive week, providing consistent production both offensively and defensively for the Regis College Pride. At the plate, Simpson hit .556 (5-for-9) with three RBIs, three runs scored, and two stolen bases, finishing the week with a .667 on-base percentage. She delivered key contributions throughout the stretch, including a 2-for-2 performance with an RBI and two runs scored in a 10-5 win over Saint Joseph (Conn.), as well as a two-RBI outing in the 10-2 win at Norwich. Defensively, Simpson was flawless, posting a 1.000 fielding percentage over 20 total chances with 19 putouts and one assist. She anchored the infield with steady play across five games, helping stabilize the Pride defense throughout the week.
Kylee Caetano, Rivier - Caetano led the way for the Raiders, slashing a .522 batting average, .542 on base percentage, and a .652 slugging percentage. Caetano had 12 hits in 23 at bats, including three doubles. In the field, Caetano had 12 putouts and 16 assists.
Chantelle Bouchard, Saint Joseph's (Maine) - Bouchard batted .500 (8-for-16) with nine runs scored, three doubles, and five RBI in a 2-2 week of conference play. She reached base at a .529 clip and slugged .688 while striking out just once across four games. Bouchard posted multiple-hit efforts in three of the four contests, highlighted by a 3-for-4 performance with two runs and two RBI in a one-run battle against Rivier and another two-hit, three-run showing in a win over Albertus Magnus.
Emily Deleault, Simmons - Deleault recorded her 100th career hit in the first game win against colby-sawyer. On the week, she had 3 out of 4 multi hit games, including a perfect 3-3 showing in game 1 against dean.
Piper Kinney, Simmons - Kinney tied season high strikeouts with 12 against colby-sawyer while picking up 2 wins on the week with one complete game win.
Analise Escarraman, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Escarraman paced the USJ pitching Staff, earning two complete game victories while tallying a 1.40 ERA, a 1.40 WHIP and 14 strikeouts. She started the week by notching seven hits in a complete-game extra-inning victory at Regis and rounded out the regular season by notching another complete game victory, surrendering one unearned run while tossing seven punch outs in a 3-1 win at Rivier.
Lorynes Suriel, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Suriel lashed a team-leading .556/.526/.722 during a 3-2 week for USJ, tallying 10 hits, three doubles, three RBI, six runs and two stolen bases. Suriel recorded a hit in all five games she played in, tallying multiple hits in three contests. Started the week with a 3-for-4 outing in game-one against Regis, before completing the doubleheader with a 2-for-3 day with a double and one RBI. Carried the momentum into a series at Rivier, going 1-for-3 with a two-RBI single, before completing the week with a 3-for-5 outing in the doubleheader finale.
