SJC's James Benson placed third in the Long Jump with a team-record 6.35m mark and took fifth in the 100 Meter Dash with an NCAA qualifying 11.16W time at the UNH Invitational.

MEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Ben Abely, Lasell (Jr., Stonington, Conn.) - Abely set a personal-best time of 11.55 and placed 13th overall during the finals of the 100 meters Saturday at the Corsair Classic. He also tallied a time of 23.54 and finished 11th overall during the finals of the 200 meters. Along with his team, he finished fourth in the finals of the 4x100-meter relay (45.74). |

WOMEN'S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Erin Kelley, Regis (Sr., Stoneham, Mass.) - Kelley broke the school record in the 5000 meter run Saturday at the Wellesley Invitational. She finished third overall in the event with a time of 18:52.68, 21 seconds faster than the previous record. WOMEN'S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK Elise Stanbury, Lasell (Sr., Washington, N.J.) - Stanbury tallied a personal record of 29.26 meters and finished sixth overall during the finals of the discus throw and tallied a mark of 8.55 meters in the finals of the shot put Saturday at the Corsair Classic. |

MEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Chris Margiatto, Regis (Fr., Suffield, Conn.) - Margiatto enjoyed a solid performance Saturday at the Wellesley Invitational. He won the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:02.66, a half-second quicker than his nearest competitor and now third on the GNAC performance list. He also participated as part of the Pride 4x400 meter relay team as it finished second with an overall time of 3:45.13. |

WOMEN'S ROOKIE OF THE WEEK Hanna Babek, Lasell (Fr., Deep River, Conn) - Babek finished 15th overall in the finals of the 200 meters (29.01) and 20th in the finals of the 100 meters (13.96) Saturday at the Corsair Classic, while finishing fifth with her team in the finals of the 4x100-meter relay (55.14). |
GNAC WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Chase Adams, Colby-Sawyer (So., Brookline, N.H.) - The indoor 60-meter hurdles school record holder finished in second place during the 400-meter hurdles event with a finishing time of 58.77 which was also a new personal best for the rookie.
Ashley Keleher, Colby-Sawyer (So., Mashpee, Mass.) - Keleher had an amazing outing during this competitive meet, earning two personal records. In the 100, the rookie defeated her previous set time a week before by .20 seconds with a new time of 13.11 and placed 11th. During the 200, the indoor record holder ran over a second faster with a finishing time of 26.89.
Luke Elson, Emmanuel (Sr., Ashaway, R.I.) - Elson ran a 12.04 100m sprint to qualify for the finals at the Seahawk Invitational, finishing sixth overall in the race for a PR. He finished 10th overall in the 200m, clocking in at 24.47 seconds and for his best performance on the day ran a 53.33 second 400m race for third place. The senior also ran a leg in the Saints 4x400m relay team that finished fourth to help EC score a fourth place finish in the Invitational hosted by Saint Mary's College (Md.)
Zachary Kirsch, Lasell (Jr., Winsted, Conn.) - Kirsch placed 11th in the finals of the triple jump (11.37 meters), 16th in the finals of the long jump (4.93 meters) and tallied a mark of 4:07.53 with his team in the finals of the 4x400-meter relay Saturday at the Corsair Classic.
Benjamin Happenny, Regis (Fr., Woonsocket, R.I.) - Happenny finished first in the 800 meter run at the Wellesley Invitational Saturday. His time of 2:07.20 was 1.61 seconds faster than the second place finisher and is now the top time in the event on the GNAC performance list
Nicholas Pastore, Regis (Sr., Norwood, Mass.) - Pastore won the long jump at the Wellesley Invitational Saturday. His mark of 5.69 meters (18' 8") was 4/10ths of a meter ahead of the second place competitor and put him in second place on the GNAC performance list in the event. Pastore also finished second in the 100 meter dash with a time of 12.15 seconds.
