WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: GNAC Unveils 12-Team Playoff Field
Top-seeded Emmanuel College completed the GNAC regular-season slate with a perfect 16-0 mark under longtime head coach Andy Yosinoff.

WINTHROP, Mass.– Typically an eight-team playoff, the 2022 GNAC Women's Basketball Tournament field has been expanded to 12 for this season only due to COVID-19 postponements earlier this winter.
There will be no reseeding throughout, with four first-round contests scheduled for this Tuesday, February 22, followed by the conference semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 23.
The semifinals are scheduled for Friday, Feb. 25, with the highest remaining seed hosting the championship contest on Sunday, Feb 27.
In Tuesday's play-in round, #5 USJ, #6 Rivier, #7 Elms and #8 Norwich will host the 9 thru 12 seeds (see complete schedule below).
The top-four seeds – Emmanuel, Albertus Magnus, Saint Joseph's of Maine and Regis – will await Tuesday's winners on Wednesday evening.
