Player Of The Week
Camryn Lewis, New England College (Jr.)
Junior forward Camryn Lewis averaged 11.0 points, 13.7 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in only 21 minutes per game across a 3-0 week for the Pilgrims with wins over VTSU Lyndon, VTSU Johnson, and former GNAC foe Anna Maria. The junior forward scored 11 points with 13 rebounds in an 82-46 win over Lyndon on Tuesday, followed by nine points, 14 rebounds, and six assists in a 72-40 win over Johnson on Thursday. Lewis capped the week with 13 points and 14 rebounds in a 72-66 win over Anna Maria on Saturday, recording her sixth double-double of the season.
Rookie Of The Week
Reagan Heafey-De Angelis, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) (Fr.)
Freshman forward Reagan Heafey-De Angelis got her first career start against former GNAC foe Anna Maria and did not disappoint as the first-year delivered 12 points on 62.5% from the floor to go with four rebounds and two steals in 19 minutes to help the Blue Jays to a 71-54 victory.
WEEKLY HONOR ROLL
Lauren MacDonald, Colby-Sawyer - Despite the loss against #15 ranked Amherst, Lauren was the top scorer for the Chargers, where she would drop 12 points while adding five rebounds on 55.6% from the field and 66.7% from deep.
Abigail Lacy, Dean - Collected 34 points, nine rebounds, and five steals in a blowout victory over Fisher College.
Blaize Mack, Lasell - Averaged 15.5 points a game on 60% shooting from the floor with 7.5 rebounds in a 2-0 week. Put up 12 points and eight boards vs. Fitchburg State and followed up with 19 points on 8-for-10 from the floor with seven boards at home vs. Gordon.
Nevaeh Yorke, University of Saint Joseph (Conn.) - Was a jack-of-all-trades for USJ during their victory against Anna Maria, scoring seven points while hauling in a career-high 14 rebounds and dishing out six assists.
