Madi Zancan, Regis (Sr.)
Senior forward Madi Zancan had a dominant two-game stretch at the Daytona Beach Shootout. The Senior averaged 33.5 points and 13.0 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 60.5 percent from the field across the week. She opened the trip with a historic 50-point, 17-rebound performance against Alma, going 19-of-27 from the floor and 12-of-18 at the free-throw line. Her 50 points is the most in a single-game in Regis women's basketball history. Zancan followed that effort with 17 points and nine rebounds against Grove City, finishing the week with 67 total points, 26 rebounds, and 21 made free throws, while logging 32.5 minutes per game.
Rookie Of The Week
Shea Canavan, Emmanuel (Fr.)
Freshman guard Shea Canavan averaged 8.5 points and 2.5 rebounds per game in just 16.5 minutes per action off the bench as Emmanuel posted a 1-1 record. Canavan scored nine points and had two steals in a win over Central (Iowa) in 19 minutes before scoring eight in a low scoring setback to no. 12 nationally-ranked Bates.
